My confusion is which B-School do I target for my MBA..I cannot study to get a 90+ percentile in CAT or a 720 above score in GMAT, I have 5+ years of decent experience. I have a choice of writing CAT and getting into a B grade college like a Wellingkar, Fore etc which will also give me good return in a long run viz a viz struggling in a corporate job without a masters. OR write GMAT and I do not know what colleges can I aim for considering the fact that I cannot spend anything over 20 lac for my MBA until its a dream college like an ISB or Insead.
Please suggest..

Work Ex: IT Service Management Consultant (Total 7+ years and 2+ years as ITSM Consultant)
Aim for next one year: To get into a good B-school in India or Abroad

Acad is not the only criteria to get a call from top 15 b schools.
You can offset that through good GMAT score.
and btw what do you understand by "top 15 b schools"?

I have done B.Tech in Information Technology from HBTI Kanpur and have passed out in 2009.
I want to pursue MBA from abroad through GMAT.
However IT through HBTI is not accredited.
Please let me know what options I have.
Also ISB Hyderabad, which is thru GMAT as well but located in INDIA, will also have similar accreditation problems.

is Accredition the only reason for you to pursue MBA from abroad?
if yes, then why?
My opinion is: ISB and IIMs are very good institutes and their programmes, irresepctive of accredition, are at par with the programmes abroad and it also depends of what you want to do after MBA.
