Hey Ankita...You don't have to score 100% marks in maths...You must be comfortable with some particular types of questions...Practice them and make sure that you don't miss any of those kinds in the exams...that will help you clear the cut-off...And boost up your percentils by scoring high in Di & VA... Best of Luck...

This is Ankita (username shanu, but that's because all Ankitas were already taken).
So here for, of course, MBA; mainly from ISB.
Work ex- 2 years in Hindustan Unilever Limited (Research profile)
Education - B.E. Chemical Engineering
Aim in next one year - Get into ISB or FMS or IIMs.
Would really appreciate help on GMAT, ISB admissions, and ways to score in CAT :p

what u guys say...any chance of cracking XAT coz I am sure I can manage 98 above percentile in XAR

Myself Saeed and this is my first introduction post, hope you all are doing good and i found this website while surfing on net for my question "will it be helpful for me to get MBA(HR) ?", as i am currently working as a IT recruiter. I have completed B.E IT and has some development experience too, then i shifted to recruitment field and after two years i think that if i get MBA(HR) then it would be helpful for me, what you all say?..
Anyways i read many threads and all were awesome with bunch of information and guideline when i was reading some threads i was wondering you people are doing great job with not only providing useful information but also empowering someone thouth and accelarate their potential towards the goal.

My name is Vipin i have started preparing for CAT this year only.
I have done B.tech in Mech. engg presently i am working as Sr. executive in Voltas Ltd.(Work Ex+2 years)
I am Xtremly hopeful that next year i will make it into some top B-school though the results of my AIMCATS were not upto my expectations, But i guess peaking at the right time is the key and how well you do on the D-day is important..so finger crossed.

Coz if someone can do it i can do it too......:cheerio:

Hello dewal,

you can start by preparing a schedule and ADHERING to it. Try to get hold of some study material. TIME is good . Theres little time for concept building at this stage so try solving previous year AIMCATS. They are a little bit tough but cover most of the important concepts.
