Completed my graduation in Chemistry.

Joined pagalguy to get info about the vast world of management studies and also for resolution of my queries.

Hope I'll have a gr8 journey, initially as a seeker and then as a guide :p

Hi guys,this is Akshay Pamnani,19,currently doing Electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Hyderabad,completed my first year.
I want to start preparing for CAT from now,but don't have the slightest of idea from where to begin,I have a lot of time,3 years to write CAT.
Being an IITian,I have always wanted to be effective,I was never a guy mugging the whole time for JEE,rather I studied daily for some time very effectively.So I am looking for effective ways here for my preperation.

hey guys
This is Harsha from Bangalore. I finished my B.E in 2009 and worked for Dell for about five months and now working as a network security analyst at a company called CIBER Inc . totally i have about one and a half years of exp and plan to work for one more year before i take the plunge .

I Always felt i would not be able to use my strengths to the fullest if i just continue working and hence wanna do my MBA.

I am here to find all possible info to get into a good coll . Planning to dedicate one year for my preparation is it enough

I have to start from scratch from collecting info to preparation and whatever it takes to get into a good college. so looking forward to a lotta help from you guys on the forum .

hello everyone this is Akshay pandey ...
Currently pursuing B.tech in Textile Technology from IICT Bhadohi..
had an Aieee rank of 42000 smthng in 2010
first year of engineering is over so during these so far 'unconstructive' olidays i decided to do sthng constructive ...hence registered myself as a puy..

my 'short term' dream is to pursue the fellow program in management at IIM, after cracking the GATE 2013 (i.e. i wanna apply thru Gate score)...but just in case to keep myself safe I've also decided to side by side prepare for CAT 2013.

I've had my schooling from Boys' High School & College, Alahabad (incidentaly Big B's alma mater too)...had 91% in 10th & 73%in 12th..was highly involved in xtra curriculars in my last 2 years of schooling ..as the drop in marks & my aieee rank wud suggest ....but i am tryin my level best to correct those mistakes...

And i hope that PagalGuy wud play a decent role in that goal of my mine...

Education: Entering third year of chemical engineering. Middling to good academics.

Current Occupation: Student.

Why on PG? Hope to get some guidance on MBA and career in general.

Specifically Looking for : Some advice on how an MBA goes with my undergraduate discipline. And preparation help, ofcourse, if I decide to appear for CAT. :)

hi puys.iam ankita,severely mathematically challenged.Guess iam not a traditional CAT taker but there is always a first time.Iam a graduate in microbiology from St.Xaviers ,Mumbai.I have already taken the maharashtra mba-cet and have scored 96 percentile(ya,thats because iam spanking good in verbal).Hoping to do well in CAT this year but .......QUANT will and always remain my nemesis.

You still have ample time to improve on your quant skills. This thread would surely be of immeasurable help to u.

Hey Ankita...You don't have to score 100% marks in maths...You must be comfortable with some particular types of questions...Practice them and make sure that you don't miss any of those kinds in the exams...that will help you clear the cut-off...And boost up your percentils by scoring high in Di & VA...
