I am new to this forum but even I am finding your query a bit strange. I have my reasons which are listed below:

(1) There is absolutely no way you could get into a good college without (!!) an enterance exam.
(2) You might find some random college which could let you in thru payment seats (donation etc.). However the worthiness of such a degree is a big question mark.
(3) Also it limits your option when you say you don't want to leave B'lore.
(4) Just out of curiousity, why don't you join any good distance course while dpoing job. I guess that will add greater value rather than doing MBA from a third-rate college.

Please let me know if there are further queries.

Hi Deepthi,

There are some colleges which may accept students without considering any Entrance Exam Scores (CAT, MAT, XAT). But please understand that these type of colleges are not AICTE approved.

They may provide you a degree, but it will not have any value in the Professional World.

As you have passed in 2009, you will have 2 years of rich job experience (By Nov 2011) which really counts during college's admissions. So, as a fellow aspiring student of MBA, I want to suggest you to please rethink your decision and think of giving CAT Exam & other management exam. You even have a choice of giving Karnataka CET :D.

This PG Forum will thoroughly guide you for your preparation. :D

Your career depends on this decision :D. All the very best for your future :D

Plz post further for any query 😁

Hi folks,
This is nandha alias nandy cute scribbling on PG thread with a hope to get into the one of those hardworked guys who appeared in the ALL I WANTED...book..am basically from Tamilnadu, currently working near Blore

I am basically a engineering professional working in a core company with one and half years of experience. The word of CAT and the world of IIMs are being respected by me nevertheless they sounds fascinating too.

This is the first time i am stepping into CAT preparations and above to join class.

The bottomline being i am new new to this field and i hardly know friends who would guide me.. I am good to find PG from google and folks please guide me..

Mission is started. all the best to all you folks and hope you guys make this journey happen and this forum makes me drive better.

See you guys,
Nandha

Hi Puys,

Looking fwd to doing an MBA in Marketing from a renowned bschool.:D

hi
this is pankaj mukhi, currently pursuing pgpm from ibs, mumbai...

guys would love to help you out with more information about my college and all the fake information being provided about the college

let me throw a light on few issues:

1- placement- a challenge for any college, ibs has a very good placement structure and the average package is around 6 lac/annum..this also depends on your abilities and determination.
2- campus- the best you can get, problem areas- hostel would make it a bit cheap for students
3- faculty- knowledgble and extremely helpful
4- course- its best if u r interested in studying
5- location- best place for hangouts are just around the corner.
