m a 2009 btech pass out n i was preparing for civils n various other govt xams since den
now m planning for mba n want to appear for cat 2011
i dnt hv ny work exp should i go 4 mba now?

Gap year will not matter but why are you shifting from civil services to MBA?Anyways gap year do not matter you just have to provide with an affadavit of gap year verified from notary or police station that you had gap years.And you should have strong and valid point for the gap years for the interview

SIBM Pune is also a great college, you can keep it as a back-up option
I would but the last date for filling the fees is 6th of March and My XLRI interview is on the 11th of March so will have to let it go. But no worries, all shall be well. 😃

SIBM is AICTE approved, then as per guidelines if you withdraw your addmission beore the comencement of the course, then your fees would be refunded fully, with a minor deduction of around Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,000 towards processing charges

Deduction of 1000 along with Rs. 30,000 that is non refundable for pre course stuff. Anyways since i would be taking up an education loan for my MBA i obviously can't keep changing my mind with the banks. So here's hoping XL works out. 😁

When are you planning to give CAT or other exams?
start reading...anything u get ur hands on.u will develop good vocabulary and reading skills for comprehensions.also u will have a fair idea of grammar.Besides this read some grammar book to be familiar with grammar.
For quant and DI u should get a good book ,probably R S Aggarwal if u r beginning.Besides this u should go through magazines like competition success where you will find ample no. of questions to solve.
When you are confident enough with your solving skills you can start with time management for solving questions and find out ur strong and weak subjects and also topics.Concentrate on weaker parts and practice on stronger parts.
