Education and Work Ex Background : BE in ECE from BIT Mesra having 14 months experience at TCS as of now.

Current Occupation : ASE at TCS Mumbai working with SBI(client).

Why on PG : To make friends who have common goal in this journey of CAT.

Specifically looking for what on PG : well to help me sort out my weaknesses and contribute towards making this journey more comfortable.

Aim for Next One Year : to c myself at any IIM's.

Hello Puys,

The name is E.Vinod Kumar aka "I Want IIM"

The name "I Want IIM" may seem offensive to some fellow Puys while others may put me into those "empty-vessel-more-noise" kind of MBA aspirant. But my presence here is to put a step forward in getting what i have dreamt all these days.

Today, when I clicked "Complete Registration" button, i made a promise not to quit until i get what i dreamt for.

I know, i will fall.
I know, sometimes i will fall harder.
I know, sometimes i will be enticed to quit.

But I promise myself, I won't stop myself from getting up on my feet again for the next lap.

Education and Work Ex Background : B.Sc.IT from Mumbai University. Worked as Software Developer at NSEiT (National Stock Exchange I.T) for 12 months.

Current Occupation : Taken a break for preparation of CAT 2011.

Why on PG : Inspire myself for my journey of CAT 2011.

Specifically looking for what on PG : Guidance from seniors, as I have always lacked advise from wiser mates.

Aim for Next One Year : Not the IIM (ironically, thats what my nickname speaks), but to achieve my dream of belling the CAT in the very first attempt.

I know, there are prodigies who have dreamt it, done it. But my acquaintance with my physical self for the past 23 years made me realize two things:

I am not a prodigy.
But I am also not quitter.

So hopefully this promise goes unbroken.

i have done btec in mechanical engg.
I have got 4+ yrs of exp in IT industry including work experince abroad.

Planning to go for MBA for chaning my work profile..

Does NSE.IT conduct any kind of online examination for NSE accredited certification???or is it da NCFM its talking abt??

NSEiT does not conduct any of its own exams but does have an affiliation with NSE for NSE's Certification in Financial Markets i.e. NCFM.
If you are an employee of NSEiT, then first attempt for all NCFM Modules would be free of charge. Also being a part of NSEiT, gives a lot of exposure in the finance module (since almost all the product of NSEiT deals with finance).

Apart from that, there is no real advantage of being NSEiT employee.
