I am Rohan....m a first year doing B.Tech in CSE from NIT Durgapur....
Today I got back from a seminar by Dr. Handa who is a professor at IIM A...he gave a very enlightening speech about entrepreunership and such...so i thought of doing a little research about MBAs and such....
My acads are quite bad...got 84 percent in ICSE(10) nd 79 percent in CBSE(12) which according to people literally rejects me from even getting into IIM A....
I am now feeling really depressed about it...Do I really stand a chance in getting a IIM call and should I even try to to prepare for the CATs exam...or should I forget about it??

hello...i m sampurna baruah..from assam..completed electrical engineering in july 2010..didnt go for job thnking i wl prepare well fr cat..wrote cat..wasnt very great..so didnt apply to most of d gud b schools..now got 96.05(whch i didnt expect)...bt didnt apply to colleges like nirma, lbs, ubs etc..bt did apply to bim, kjsom n d like....has fetched calls from mib-mhrod, iiswbm,sitm(didnt attend..it was today.), iifm, tezpur univ(in assam)....now waiting gd pi's..want to get into a gud bschool this year..as already i have got a gap of 8 mnths now...
i have been in pagal guy fr some time...really a great place for aspirants and also to meet like minded pple and helpful pple...
