Hi, I am Surendra Jain. I have a quick question regarding admissions to IFMR-FE program.

Does anyone knows about the admission procedure of IFMR- FE program for the 2011 batch.. It is written in the website that there will be a written test on math for selection. Will there be a GD/PI also for the admission.

Hi Ashish, sharing with you my personal experience, do analyze every SIM CAT you take for at least 8-10 hours. Study and identify what you like most. Accordingly make your strengths and sharpen them. But even before that, know yourself first. What do you want?

This is my first post on PG and surely 1000's of them coming soon...

. I have been a frequent visitor of PG(to keep me updated about CAT and other MBA examzzzzzzzz) for the last 3 years but never introduced myself.

Well its the same old story :shock:... did my engineering in Electronics from Pune university and working in IT industry for the past 2 years. Now a new dimension to my monotonous routine is a MISSION i.e CAT.

Am sure will get along well with all PUYS and together we will make it as easy as HALUWAAA :clap:.....

Buddy,

There is no standard/suitable time table which can assure getting through into any of the IIMs... however, there are certain generic things coupled with strategies which one develop for him on the basis of analysis of mocks lead to a decent CAT Score.

You can go through following threads.. ( http://www.pagalguy.com/discussions/2010-cat-related-and-important-links-25055215 ) ...it will give you a flavor of what CAT is all about and how do people across the country go for it.

i am undergoing a very unique problem.....from past 2-3 mocks wich i m giving my score is dropping drastically, instead of improving.

Buddy, please avoid posting same query on multiple threads.... it wont serve any purpose... just wait for fellow puys to reply to the query in relevant thread only.

Hey Friends,

I'm a simple Commerce grad. I want to know if i have a Masters from IGNOU (for eg) is that considered as a recognised degree by IIMs & other top league b-schools??? As i'm planning to take an admission in MA Economics from IGNOU. Will that be an added advantage at the time of GD/PI & final selection??? I'm also planning to appear fot CAT 2011. (please excuse me for my english)
