Well i can understand ur concern for the MBA aspirants......but look sir to be very honest this is not a surrogate advertising model........i am here to brief the queries of all the individuals who are there from chemical engineering or any other background and looking forward to attain experience in OIL field..........

I think its a sheer lapse of logical reasoning.........on your part.

Nothing personal toward you, but i can just say one thing that its an honest attempt to help all those who are ignorant about this state of art institute in the heart of oil capital GUJRAT.

hi sir.... i am a graduate from hansraj college delhi university...and i am appearing for the coming cat...my specilitation was geology(H)...could you please tell me that how much benificial will the course be for me...?? what is the selection process for admission???and how much was the last year cutoff marks in cat for admission???

could you tell the likely cut off required to apply for the course.
and beside that i have a engg background in mechanical and had a one year experience in power plant construction industy.
would that help me in anyway as i am not expecting a high cat percentile.
beside that what type of profile one is getting through placements.

i m expecting around 80% this time in cat....backed by more than 2 years of experience in petro sec as a design engineer...now workin as a design manager..
wot are my chances of gettin a call if i apply for this institute...

We have one more guy in our junior batch who was an lawyer :)

Regarding whether its good or not it solely depends on ur interest buddy.

I would say u can give the gdpi and if selected than think on it... as anyway in the process u would be seeing the institute,meeting with students and faculty too.

wats salary packages that comp( only oil and gas ????) offer there, wat r the cut offs that one need to ve to get the call?
and i m from the marketing and sales background 2 yrs work ex with bachelors in engineering, but nowhere related to oil or gas. so wat r my chances??

average salary package is around 6 lack , we can't predict cutoff . but your call and selection depends on many criteria like work ex. , academic record, ........
and cat score is one of those.
your work ex will pay here no matter it is not related to oil and gas sector .
your chance depends on your performances.

I have overall percentile of 92.2.quant-76 percentile,DI-54 percentile and english-97 percentile.Do I stand a chance to get a call frm IPMG.secondly,assuming the fact that I manage to scrape thru each selection process and get an admission @ IPMG,wat wud be expected of us by the recruiters?wat wud b their selection criteria?cud u plz enlghten me in this regard?Thx in advance.
