i want to know from which particular books should i prepare for acet 1 oct 2016 ,and pleeeeeease suggest me the best and appropriate because i dont hv any idea about and also dont have any one near my house who even know what is actuarial science ?

now so much disturbed about acedemics as i dont have any guidance my family just hate me as m idle at home

I have done my M.Sc in mathematics, have 2 years experience in banking and 3 years in teaching. I am 29 now and want to enter into actuarial field as I am interested in it rather than teaching. now is it suggestible to take up the exams now. do I get any initial level jobs after completing 2 or 3 papers. Need guidance as I don't know anyone in this field
Does anyone have any feedback on the recommended ACET books? I am having a hard time narrowing down on the books to use, any help will be appreciated

Hi ! I have written ACET oct 2016 exam. I attempted 5 questions out of 10 in stats. There is sectional cut off right? so is there any chance of qualifying the exam?

Every time I share my result and this time I got delayed. i apppeared for ST2 and CA2 and was able to clear none of it. A very painful experience. Anyways hoping for the best

At present I’m busy with SAP FI&CO modules. I’m very much interested in persuing Actuarial science. I’m here to ask u regarding am I worth doing Actuarial science. If yes, how long does it actually take to become an ASSOCIATE actuary, since I’m already 21. My long term goals : to get admitted into IIM. (CAT 2018). If not IIM, I would love to do actuarial science. im good at math n stats. i could easily learn subject, infact i love learning new things.

Any clue where can one find some study material like sample papers and previous year papers for ACET. I've searched google like crazy and have managed to find very little.
Can someone tell that what does it mean by sectional cut off in acet 2017 in official notification there were 2 section 1st consist of maths, stats, DI and in 2nd consist of english and LR ,means if someone has to qualify for acet has to clear cut off of section 1 and section 2 then separaterly

Like everytime, i would like to share my actuarial result. I appeared for CA2 and ST2 this time. Failed in both. Got 59 in ST2 with passing mark being 60. So close yet so far. And for CA2 I got only 34 with 60 being passing mark. Clearly not ready for this one.
I cleared acet this year(Jan 4 2018) with 52.5 as my result.. Is it a good score or do I have to appear again for this exam again.. If this is a good score then plz suggest which CT paper should I appear first..
My second query is that I did not understand how to submit documents for registration . do I have to upload it or just mail it to institute.. I am also facing an issue viz one of my documents is with college authorities ( given at counselling) and they will give it back to me only after I get into my second year.. So what should I do?
I am currently doing btech first year in ENTC Guys it's a request plz read the above para patiently and answer my doubts . It will be of immense help

Can anyone tell me is there any difference in iai and ifoa study material. If we prepare from iai material can we pass ifoa exam. Can we buy ct3 material from iai portal without being a registered member. Plz reply.
