i will be giving acet exam this june .... i solved questions from the study material but am still worried, i havnt joind coaching classes thrfor feel need for extra questions .... any suggestions???
MBA from top 20 B-School along with clearing 5-6 papers of Actuaries can fetch a job of how much package? considering with 0 papers cleared, I can fetch a Job of 10lpa from campus
I have a doubt rearding the overqualification problem in the actuarial field.I just appeared for my 12th board exams and will be appearing for acet this june.I am planning to clear about 8 ct papers by the time I graduate i.e 3 yrs.Would that make me overqualified?If yes,then what are my options?Since I'll be studying for the next 3 yrs i cant get a job until then.Or are there any internship programs in insurance field which would give me some experience?

@Blu_Dragon and other guys...i am very new to this field. I have been selected to PGDM course in National insurance academy (NIA), pune. I am likely to take this course. I have been fond of maths since childhood. therefore this course interests me. i am an average student from engineering background and do not have much knowledge of finance. Also,i would you to know, i will be 26, next month. considering my interest, age and background would it be right to take step towards being an actuary? specifically, at 26 is it too late to start studies? also i would like to know how rigorous is the curriculum of actuarial science?
I will give my ACET exam this december.butbut i want to start my studies or practice for ACET now......which are the sources from where i can parctice and study more for my ACET exam?
Guys, I cleared CFA level 1 some time back; but IAI doesn't give exemption based on CFA. But IFoA does (of CT2 and CT7). Now, could I do something like this - become a member of IFoA, get the CFA exemption from there and then get the exemption of these papers from IAI? This is like getting indirect exemption for CFA through IFoA. Anyone got any idea if this would work? Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

can we get exemption, if we clear CT1 as non-member from IFOA ?..if we clear as non-member then what is the process for exemption ?..is there any difference or negatives by clearing CT subjects from IFOA and getting exempted...like while we apply for job or later stage ?
