There is going to be a coaching class for those who want to appear for ACET exam in Delhi/NCR . Batch starts from 15th April. The purpose of this classroom course is to finish the syllabus with enough practice paper at the end of May , so that the candidate should have sufficient time before the exam . Those who are interested can contact at -- sudheer_ogs@yahoo .co.in
@only.vidhi Do not call me sir. I am just a student like you.
Regarding your question the material is more than enough. It will take about 1 month considering you put 3 hrs per day. The material has question and solution. Complete entire study material and ACET will be a piece of cake.
I had done it without coaching. I don't prefer coaching at all. But I was a maths hons student before. So it depends on you. However if I were in your shoes I will avoid coaching, save that money and do some trading as I intend to specialize as Investment Actuary.
@Blu_Dragon thank u very much...i will take ur advice.i have seen the syllabus and find it quite easy.. i am a final year engineering student so,i am also in touch with maths.thank u.
Hi All,I am Surya, going to give ACET, June 2013 from Delhi. And also, I am a CA Final Student. I had a doubt after seeing the past results of IAI, Why do they pass just 40% of students appeared?
@LeoCub Dude honestly I have no idea about Future Track. And I hate coaching centres like this. i would not be the right person to talk about this. All I can tell you that foir clearing ACET study material is great. Yes once you clear ACET for building your knowledge about various technical papers you require outside books. But for ACET nothing of that sort is required. Just do the study material thoroughly.
SOA have almost zero value in India and Europe. They have different papers and system. That is not followed here. Indian Actuary is subsidiary of the UK one. If you have got an Actuary degree from UK or India you will be able to use that in Asia and Europe. But for SOA it is useful in USA only. Also there is no exemption.
That is almost the case with every international exam. Take or example CFA every year 42-45% student passes. Now you know that you have to be in the top 40%. The competition is getting tougher every day. All the best.
@mitskalathiya lot of respect man for being CA final. I will ask you few questions on CA. I will PM you. Don't worry about ACET. Just solve study material. It is quite easy. But answer me one thing why Actuary after CA?
