me too waiting for infy intv results, i've given test on 12th march in Modern college of engg. pune,we were in all 53 shortlisted,they interviewed us on the same day and yeah, they haven't given us ne roll nos :wow:, instead de told us to write roll no of our last xam,m in touch of many of ma frnds hu were wid me den,as per d best of my knowledge, candidates who will be passing out in 2006 hav got results some of them selected, some rejected but none of the 2005 candidates got ne reply yet 
, don't no how long v hav to wait m in total dillemma......

i've asked this question from persons working at infosys. they said u'll definitely get mail in any case.

Idiotr asked one of his friend regarding this n he said that they(infy ppl) r not entertaining anyone on phone regarding this. and in some cases it may take 3 to 4 months time to send letters
Most of you guys dont know but infosys have lost a case because of their hiring practice. Their hiring practice are alligned to make sure number of people sitting idle( bench) is minimum.
My friend in November 2003 cleared Infosys written and interview. He got email within a month indicating that he has been finally selected and he will recieve a letter within 4 weeks regarding date of joining and place of joining. . They were hiring him for a new project slated to begin in Mid january. My freind having secured admission in sydney university for master course (Feb 2004 session) decided to drop the course even after paying 2 lakhs as first installment.
Jan passed and then feb passed. My freind didnt got any letter. Some insider from Infosys told that the new project came and began in mid january but client changed service level agreements (SLA ) and infosys need not to hire more people for project. So if they have shortlisted lets say 60 people for new project, now they only need 30 people as client have changed some requirements.
My friend dad is a lawyer. In third week of march, My friend dad put a case against Infosys at Bangalore seeking compensation and damages for Rs 9.75 lakhs p.a and job as committed by infosys earlier.
By Mid april, Laywer passed motion of judgement against Infosys as Infosys lawyer failed to appear in court hearing. Infosys contacted my friend in last week of April and told to do some sort of settlement outside court. Finally they settled for Rs 5.90 lakhs and no job. Case was withdrawn.
South Newspapers will not carry any bad news against Infosys but this news was there in some regional papers as well as in HT and times of India.
I would suggest all u Infy aspirants to wait patiently and keep looking for other openings as well ...afaik , Infy is on a hiring spree now n I hope all of u get selected..the IT industry is on a roll now and IT majors like TCS, CTS r hiring in huge numbers..So atb to all..and yes Infy sends confirmation as well as rejection letters to all ppl who appear 4 d interview...

hey me 2 receved the mail of selection from infy..but it was sumwhere arnd mid april.!! Din't received any further response from them..!!
so any of u receivng any mail of joininin or sumthing..do tell me pl.z.!!

I took my Infy test on 15th April and I got the intent of offer mail on 19th May. But after that there is no communication from them regarding date and place of joining. Can someone help me out.

Consider ur self lucky enough to have got the intent of offer mail so soon.
Something called "patience" is also there.
