Tell us more about MBA Global and what's the difference between MBA Global and MBA IB(which is starting from this term) ???

Hello,

Its great to hear that you IMT Nagpur has started this thread...well, for myself, i had got an admission to IMT Nagpur MBA(Global) in 2004...but did not take up...because that was the first year of its inception...so i was not too keen on joining the college...on the other hand, it was offering MBA(Global)....at that point of time, i was not knowing whom to ask about what all this is...but now since the first batch would be coming out, the students have been there for two years....could you all give me a picture of how the college is...the summers, how are the finals expected to be...what about the faculties....how different is MBA (Global)....how much is the average final placement going to be...what is the expected CAT percentile...etc etc...

Waiting for responses...

we have one of the best infrastructure ( if not the best) in India... the faculty is good, so were the summers 2005. U can check out our site www.imtnagpur.ac.in to get more info....

As far as placements are concerned..... let them speak for themselves.

Hi folks

Summer placements are never a good measurin gauge for placements.As far as placements go they will suely speak for themselves and believe me when I say they have been good-really good so far.
As far as the difference between mba global and MIB is concerned MBA global is typically your pgdm or MBA.Global is because u u have a few subjects on the wto and stuff.
MIB has a different curriculum and also involves a trip abroad.BTW IMT Nagpur would be having it's first batch of MIBs this time.

Robin has not been able to post any msg on the thread as he was out for the placement trips n there one gets very busy.
How far as the cut off for the institute is concerned, last time the first two lists comprised of people with 90 percentile and above so it might be somewhere close to that. so can't say anything related to the score specifically.

Hey guys

Sorry for the delay in answering ur queries.Imt Nagpur's cut off as mentioned by Sugandh was around 90-92%ile for freshers last year.This year the cut off is expected to increase.As far as individual marks are concerned,I wouldnt be able to help u guys as it all depends on the CAT authorities and the relative percentiles u guys get

hey sameer....IMT ghzd has started HR prog few years back and is doing pretty well.... and here its starting from this year....there are around 30-35 seats ...cut-off is expected around 88+ ...

As of now majority of the batch has been placed. Average Salary is 4.5 lacs.

hi guys i have 92.56% and 85%+ every section wat r my chances in pgdba and mib programs. is imt nagpur at par with imt gaz. i have not filled any option regarding imt nag do i stand to be called in please reply

With ur kind of percentile u should be getting a call from IMT- Nagpur MBA(Global). how far as not filling imt nagpur as the second option is concerned, this shouldn't be a problem. because last time they gave call by default lookin at the percentile.
