We understand your anxiety on whether you would make the cut this time around with your scores. So based on last year's information we provide the tentative cut-offs and other information.
This should NOT be treated as the final one, please use this only as a benchmark or a ballpark figure. If the system undergoes a change or if the management decides to change the rules/cutoffs/process etc, we will communicate the same ASAP once we come to know about it. So for all the score related queries, please do not ask the same queries, please look into the below information. You can also contribute by quoting this post whenever such queries come up.
ADMISSIONS ARE EXTENDED TILL 14th JAN 2013 FOR ALL CAMPUSES.
Based on last year, these are the cutoffs for getting a GD/PI call from IMT-G. 90%ile for CAT and XAT without sectionals. NO CALLS WERE GIVEN BELOW 90%ile for IMT-G per last year. CMAT score is NOT ACCEPTED by IMT-G.
At the time of issuing the GD/PI calls, no other factor like Work EX, Acads, extra curriculars are looked into. Calls are given solely on basis of the cutoff scores mentioned above.
RE-ITERATING, THIS IS AS OF LAST YEAR. We have not been /will not be given this year's cutoffs at this stage.
For a final convert post GD/PI, these are the factors (not in any particular order) that will be taken into consideration during the preparation of the final rank list.
1) CAT/XAT SCORE
2) ACADS
3) GD/PI PERFORMANCE
4) WORK EX (IF APPLICABLE)
5) PROFILE AND EXTRA CURRICULARS
Thus if you feel that you are lacking on, say acads, but have very good extra curriculars, you still stand a decent chance.
UPDATING THE SCORES - CAT SCORES will be received by IMT directly from the conveners.For other exams, you will receive emails asking you to update the scores once that particular exam's results are out. You can use the Edit Information Tab in your application page to effect the same.
Tentative GD/PI dates, call list details - Per last year, the GD/PI call list was released during the last week of January. GD/PIs commenced from the first week of February. Locations are those that are mentioned in the application form and the preference that you would have given. There will be no extra locations.Hope this helps.

@SLNarasimhan : Hi, while going through the application form, I noticed that in the space provided for graduation details, there is no tab for Law as a field. I have completed my B.B.A.Ll.B. from Symbiosis, Pune . Shall I just use the "others' tab in that case and proceed?

how are my chances of converting the call ??
and i suppose after online registration and payment we didn't have to send anything to the college ???

You will receive a call. You dont have to send anything. For conversion related details, please refer my earlier posts.

Cutoffs are solely based on the management's discretion. However for the last couple of years, the trend has been decreasing.

is there any difference ..applying earlier and after CAT.. i have 98 OA with 96 in VA and 97 in QA.. but i applied after CAT.

No need. Application is common. CAT results will automatically be sent.
