I have heard only lesser-than-good remarks about DCP program. Anyone has any idea about how stupid or prudent it will be to pay 49k? And any chance of upgradation from this DCP?
What I have right now is hopes for 6 New IIMs and MDI interview is yet to happen.

there is no "upgradation as such" because all programmes get the same benefit of placements, companies, short-terms, professors and infra. therefore if you withdraw, you withdraw from imt as a whole.
Best of luck on your new iims - but i strongly suggest you take up mdi, if you get through mdi and new iims (no conflict of interest here - i am a imt-g passout)

It can absolutely happen if it can happen at old IIMs, new iims and every other b-school. This is not new - but what you are talkinga bout is a an outlier lowest denomination. Similarly no one told you that the highest placement at imt-ghaziabad was for a dcp student at 30 lakh :)
But extremes matter less than means :)
You should be worried over the average which hovers over 10 and for good kids easily over 12.

This HALO effect is a huuuuugeeeeee factor and this HALO effect is an effect of 33 years of doing that is not easy to kill especially in a down market- Try and check any job portal or run a Search with IMT Ghaziabad vs Another school on Google News. You will see what I mean.
