you are selected because of your profile and not inspite of it - Can you guys not see a TREND in the calls?look at siddhiz profile and look at yours. get a correlation and ask why.
Are you hinting at a trend of good profiles getting DCP??
@NikunjShah103 Sir, Can you please throw some light on the DCP Programme? I mean what is the duration spent at dubai? What are the specializations available? Placement Scenario? THANKS

the thing i don't understand is that since every thing in DCP is the same as PGDM FT as the person so aptly pointed out why charge 5 lakhs more for this course. About the dubai thing(exposure and all), people would have done their MBA from premier B schools outside of india if exposure if what they are looking for. Totally not worth it.
@DEVILISHANGEL But the fees is too high...I am really confused as to should I go for it or not.I have 2 yrs work ex as ERP copnsultant and want to do Finance. However grads score is a bummer - 52.34 BE
Tough shot - I will say no given your profile to attend any b-school. Now or later, given your aspirations unless you do really amazing really soon. but the more late you do the more tough it gets, b-schools and companies will want more and more of profile.
Given your background finance companies in the top 15 colleges will be a little careful with you.
Go for (any) it if YOU are sure of yourself and your future financial prowess.
If you do get into IMT-G PGDM-DCP with Finance as your specialisation, make sure you get allthe help you want form the now internationally awarded cfa champions at imt-dubai. Do such courses fomr very early on and stay very focussed.

Because in India MBA is non-for-profit business. Right.
Also why ISB increased 250 seats and B-schools in India run on government land and run for 40 years on government money, now charge 15.5 lakhs for an MBA. An international MBA from the wow places costs you about 90 lakhs without benefits.
Life's not fair. Get over it.
There is one off chance though - India is a saturated MBA market - EMEA (Arab Countries + Africa+some parts of Europe are not) - thats what this course will someday cater to more and more in the coming years. its already happenning given the placement trends but more so will happen in the future.

DCP programme = about 1 year in Dubai, and later one year at IMT-G. It is the only course at IMT-G which is a completely General MBA programme therefore giving you the benefit of choosing any Majors you want which is a huge huge advantage :)
The average is same as imt-g course for Marketing+Finance given all the placement opportunities are the same. The cherry on top though is that this year DCP's highest placement has been from DCP 30 lakhs for an international profile.

We can get a verbal duel over this and lets not even go to the name u mentioned in ur post. (way out of IMT's league) but still i do not think this will lead anywhere. So no point in carrying this forward. wishes for all the candidates.cheers
@lohitgupta Hey ! I got a mail from IMT Nagpur of convert for PGDM program there(which is a good thing) but I wanted to ask - 1. Is there any chance of up gradation of this to IMT Ghaziabad and 2. By what time I will get to know of this conversion , if happens?
