just be honest, there must be something which we did wrong which led us to no be selected; I have accepted that. I had decent enough CAT score of 98.5.

People complaining about SPecialisation and courses within the IMT-G framework here need to understand that the college is converting into giving all general mba degrees for everyone rather than a specialsied one where all processes are synchronised together.
At the end of the day everyone sits for all companies and read the same subjects as and when desired. You guys are fretting over things which wont matter.
Look at course curriculum and placements - they are similar if not identically same for all streams across the courses - FT,DCP,IB all have Marketing or Finance or Operations or Whatever else as a specialisation, - At the end of the day you get recruited according to your specialisation and not on all these non sensical names people give to courses - It is a General Management Degree with Specialisations.
Kindly dont lose out on seats because of such communication gap - either be very clear that you will give cat.xat again or dont waste a year because of miscommunication.

my frnd with 90+ in tenth n twelfth and 80+ in btech got wat he opted for.. finance... so maybe acads have a very good weightage...
