I don't understand how euro markets affect placements in India. If europe is falling due to saturation then India is still growing and there is enormous scope of development.
It's crappy government policies in India that are affecting the job scenario. Poor education system, Quotas, stupid economic policies and so many other things by congress.
Bring modi and see the India shining like Gujarat again. Whole world of companies wants to come to India at the moment but the government policies are not supportive. They eat up all the money instead of putting it up in actual development.
Pick up any industry and ask yourself whether it has a scope of development or not as compared to US or UK. There are enormous possibilities in India, yet the our government acts like a wuss.
Bhai...yesab bad market condition is not true in India.....actually the condition is quite okayish...but comps are being conservative a bit so that 2008-09 wala scenario doesn't repeat again.

my take on this....india is indeed affected...........though not sure exactly y............at least in the sector in which i work..there is no money....what i mean by this is...the govt is not paying for projects which are getting completed....... and the scenario is like this
govt not paying for compelted projects --> every company in d supply chain in affected --> delivery for subsequent projects delayed as a result --> projects not complete --> lesser payment --> sacking of officials by companies down d line..bcz projects getting stalled/no payment....
so in the end we are affected...lesser scope of increment and job change....n d big ques is why is the government not able to pay while our private clients have enough money to pay...

Modi is gud if you want to bring industry in a STATE... but i don't think he will be able to do "PROPER" development in India ..compromising of 28 states..many of which are lagging behind in development and other indices... because i don't think only with industrial development u can prosper a country with a under-skilled both technically and health-wise workforce
d back-ground of telecom-equipment industry which serves as a network-handler for different telecom operators in India are very much Euro based ....so dey are indeed affecting us..!!

n europe is nt falling because of saturation ..instead european countries are failing long-term policies and mismanagment..on a large area ! !!

Finally perhaps the figures were not so rosy.
IMT G follows IPRS(Indian placement reporting standards)....I dont see any placmeent document in IMT's site in that format ...

are u sure that imt g follows iprs standards? Because very few institutes viz. IIMA, SCMHRD,etc do it.

IMT Ghaziabad is in the AA category acc to TIME and ranked in the Top 20 by Pagalguy. As these are the most commonly followed rankings, I think we can believe in IMT and hope that the placements would soon touch 100%.
