1) course structure is same for year 1
2) In year 2 you get to choose your own electives for both marketing and finance
3) Exposure in terms of education &other; opportunities are same
4) Summers and Finals depends a lot on the year being talked about - In any down year finance can get hits. In case you want bigger names, Marketing does better than Finance. But this is very subjective. I wouldn't call JPMC or Nomura or RBI bigger or smaller than Brittanina or Airtel or Coke. Another place imt-g does exceedingly well is operations. HR remains a roll of dice mystery. Nonetheless They are all Stalwarts in their own respective industries.
Take it from a passout - Choose what you love and you won't be unhappy and you will naturally grow. Don't go against your will because it will kill you in a 35 year old life span + you won't do naturally well.

Could a specific date pls be communicated? Colleges like TAPMI have already made offers to the top performers and are expecting the 1st installment of the fees by Mar 26th.
In such a situation when candidates have not even got to know the results of the GDPIs they hav attended weeks ago, gives riseto a huge cloud of doubt.
It affects us tremendously as we will not be able to make an informed decision & will not be able to weigh the pros & cons of the course , the college and a number of other factors that come nto the picture while selecting a b-school..
Also the stakes are really high here as its not jus the gigantic monetary aspect but a CAREER decision as well.
