@hgupta88 Sir, I have received a mail shortlisting me for Nagpur/Hyderabad/Dubai..... I have a CAT %ile of 71.26 and Xat %ile of 89.71........ My interview is on Feb 20.... I don't know whether this has been from CAT or XAT.... Does this mean that doors of Ghaziabad is closed for me?? Pls reply sir...

i recived a call for GD PI on 13 feb...They dint mention any name of sfecific campus like Gaz or Nag or Hyd..what does this mean? CAT 91%.

PGDM-FT – specialize in any ONE of Marketing, HR, IT or Operations. You will have to choose one of these 4 in the second year. First year course will be common to all specializations.
PGDM-Finance.
PGDM-IB (In this, You can choose between Marketing or Finance)
PGDM-DCP
1) Yes, applications have been extended till 20th Feb. This is with a view to accommodate entries for XAT and CMAT based aspirants.
2) You will have to upload your XAT/GMAT/CMAT scores through the admissions portal.

3) Cut-off for this year too is 90 percentile in CAT for IMT-Ghaziabad. No sectionals. Only entrance test scores matter for a GD-PI call.
4) GD-PI calls are being emailed to candidates. I know - it's not a very convenient process but that's how things stand as of now.
People who apply in the latest deadline extension phase – arnd 28th Jan to 20th feb - will get only 3 options for GD-PI centres - Ghaziabad, Nagpur and Hyderabad.
Also, ur GD-PI process will be a little late - after the current schedule has been exhausted.
5) Process will be - a) document verification, b) Group discussion (including a written summary on the case, c) Personal Interview)
In the final selection, there is 50% weightage to entrance test scores.
6) Some of you with a poorer CAT score might get a call for Nagpur/Hyderabad campus initially. Again, don't panic and DEFINITELY ATTEND THE INTERVIEW FOR THE SAME. Later on, if your XAT score is good, you will be considered for Ghaziabad campus also. (And your specialization preferences for the now-converted IMT-G call will be taken from you later.)
7) If you have not given CAT but only XAT/GMAT – you will be getting your GD-PI call soon.
So what it means is that you will NOT get 2 interview calls. But for final evaluation, your best score will be taken.
So, so sum up, We have the following possibilities:
a) You get a good CAT score and get the campus call you want.
b) You couldn't do well in CAT - you didn't get a call for IMT at all OR
c) Based on your CAT score, you got a call under the Nagpur or Hyderabad campus.
Do attend the interview. The interview is a standardised metric, used across all campuses.
Later, when your XAT results are considered -
d) you didn't get a call at all earlier - but now you get one.
e) you got a call for Nagpur/Hyd earlier, attended the interview - but your XAT score is good enough to qualify you for a Ghaziabad convert - then your XAT score will be considered for final evaluation and Not the CAT score.

@hgupta88 @sidkej In the interview form we are asked to give preference for the courses in different courses. So should we fill 1,2,3,4 for gaziabad , then 1,2,3.. for nagpur and so on or 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 against the courses of the different campuses

Invigilators are not looking for individual contribution in the GD rather they are looking for the summary of the discussion that you have to write at the end.
PI was ok...not that stressful...be thorough vit Current cabinet ministers and ur hobbies that you have mentioned....

I got a call for GD/PI, but its specifically mentioned it is for Hyderabad/Nagpur/Dubai campus. I updated my XAT score(97.06%ile). Will I be considered for Ghaziabad after the interview. Is the GD/PI process for all the same or is it different. Because in the form they have sent me, there is no option for Ghaziabad campus. Whom can I get in touch to clarify this?
@Sid1990 Exactly my case I have a GMAT score of 730 and have updated it in the score link on the admissions portal of IMT, and have received an I/V invite for HYD/NAGPUR/DUBAI campuses and not the Ghaziabad Campus. Even I want to confirm if the GD/PI process is the same for Ghaziabad Campus..Please clarify...
