Hi, My application form number is 102955. I Have put in my birth date as April 5, 1991. However, On logging in onto the admission portal, i see my birth date as January 1, 1940. I am not being able to change it now. Kindly Assist.
Also, Do you have one common application for all the 4 campuses? I have applied to IMT Ghaziabad. Do I have to apply separately to IMT-Dubai? If Not, then do i have to send any documents to IMT and is the username for IMT-Ghaziabad and IMT-Dubai different?

Kindly don't misinform - and comapre - and if you do comapre and find out - then make sure you are above 29-30 years old in case you are joining glim - also find out what are the comapnies that come(industry wise) and what profiles they give. Also the average package is 9.4 at glim - non-audited 9.4. and i will not comment on profiles, industry and companies.
And the only worthwhile MBA program in India which is of 1 year duration is ISB - and even they don't promise placements because they are not in the business of placements and thats why they are where they are - all of us on this platform know that students at ISB don't always get placed out of campus - but they how did they get at the FT top 15? Great question. Study in a great b-school and talk to alum and you will know the answer. Those rosy days of just getting 99.xx in cat and getting 10 LPA are gone - you either study or you get F-ed up. Its simple. Recruters aren't stupid - they are spoilt for choice.
See anyone here giving gyan on any channel, kindly take it fomr people who have already passed out or inside the college, don't take gyan from newbies - and not because they mean harm but because they see what people show them.
IMT Ghaziabad at any point of time has 150+ companies visiting the campus (Thats a huuuuge amount of choice froma humongous amount of industries- and choice is freedom to choose a life you want to have) and as I speak the highest package this year has been 30 Lakhs Per Annum - That too from the DCP batch (that people had doubts over two years ago), 1/5th of the batch still gets PPO and all as Management Trainees (MTs) and this is regardless of multiple new IIMs opening up and other schools, including IMT itself increasing its seats and fees. There are country managers, sales managers, brand managers, marketing heads, Investment banking professionals, risk management professionals and HR managers picked up from this college for the last 32 years. It takes time to build that reputation and head HRs of all those 150+ companies know that year in and year out.
You see recruiters are NOT fools. They don't go assumption based knowledge - They only go by ALUM and Performance. That is it.

2) Alumni Base - positions they work for.

6) The CTC you get is just a resultant factor of these things - also knowing enough statistics you would understand a long and a short tail and variance - yes IMT is a very high variance college and this is the way every old b-school with a lot of students is going to be - including older IIMs and ISB - Check facts IIM-Indore and ISB year after year.

What is the best cursory way of judging a b-school? Number of Management Trainees (MTs) and Analysts and Associates the school places right out of campus - Simple - You see that ratio and you will know where the school is going. Ofcourse these are things that people who aren't yet in b-schools or haven't passed and worked know yet.
How do you check facts? Go to linkedin. Talk to Alumni. Talk to students. Search the b-school's name on google with News as an option. The world's info is at your finger tips - Use it.

@pipi Everything from now one is PGDM or MBA like it is for all IIMs and every other b-school. You can choose to specialise in any two fields as it pleases.

Hi puys, I had a small query while filling up the form for IMT. In work experience it asks about Functional Area of experience. I work in IT and have been associated with Insurance. My functional area would be IT right because Insurance will come under domain????
