i have shortlisted for gd pi round and gdpi is scheduled on 11th feb 8: 30 a.m.
Sir, I have my another exam schedule on 10th feb, which is unavoidable and neccesary for me to appear.
And IMT gdpi is equaly important and valuable to me, but as i stay in jodphur, which is almost 15 hours distance from gaziabad, it is not practical for me to reach at IMT centre at 8:30 am morning.
If possible, reschedule it to 12th feb , or 11th feb , after 1 pm.
I will be able to reach location around 1 pm on 11th feb.
Please , look into the matter and help me .

@CobainJr. Like I said, please wait for tomorrow. I am hoping that some of the current students will be able to get this issue solved. Some aspirants have already filled the year as 2012 as it was the only one available but I would still advise you to wait if you can. Also, try pinging current students like hgupta88 or lohitgupta

@aseemwarp ya...i have checked...it is showing 2012 as the default year for XAT exam date...waiting till tomorrow...based on last year do you have any idea that after submitting our test score when will they conduct our gd-pi.....around which time of month..??? i think all the call getters based on cat are having their gd-pi in 2nd week of feb
@charu2802 Hi Charu, please send a mail to the admissions office explaining your problem.
However, as the situation stands right now, IMT is not going to reschedule anyones GD/PI session(As per the mail that they have sent). Their stand on this may change, you never know. Better be safe and send a mail

@basant08 Can't be too sure but I think the calls should be out for XAT by the second week of feb so that the GD/PIs can be conducted by the last week of Feb and the first week of March.

If one has been shortlisted for GD/PI based on CAT score,is it necessary to upload XAT score?

@ussr I am not a senior but an aspirant just like you. One thing that I can say for sure is that many GD topics are from current affairs. So you will have to look out for controversial news like the Delhi rape case, or the rise in the price of diesel, or the controverisla statements made by ministers.
Additionally, some institutes might also provide you with a case study that you will have to read for a small amount of time. The GD will then be conducted on that case study where everyone will have to present their understanding of the topic.
@Varshaankita If your XAT percentile is greater than CAT it is advisable to upload your XAT marks.@vicky.546 Ok, then you will have to wait I guess. Calls are still coming out for CAT.
