I just called IMT admissions, have the same date for IMT and SIBM-6th Feb.
They said that there will be no change in slot. Only towards the end, if there are slots, will they allow me to sit. Don't know what to do.
Collated reply to common queries.
1) Yes, applications have been extended till 20th Feb. This is with a view to accommodate entries for XAT and CMAT based aspirants.
2) You will have to upload your XAT/GMAT/CMAT scores through the admissions portal. I'm in regular touch with the IT team. We are doing some final testing on the portal. The facility will be enabled soon. Please be patient.

3) Cut-off for this year too is 90 percentile in CAT for IMT-Ghaziabad. No sectionals. Only entrance test scores matter for a GD-PI call.
4) GD-PI calls are being emailed to candidates, starting with those above 90 percentile. The calls to those above 90 percentile have ALMOST been sent. This process will probably be over by today. The others will be getting their calls soon. I know - it's not a very convenient process but that's how things stand as of now.
Here are the start dates for the GD-PI processes - Ghaziabad Feb 6 Bangalore Feb 7 Mumbai Feb 3 Kolkata Feb6 Hyderabad Feb 3 Nagpur Feb 6 People who apply in the latest deadline extension phase – arnd 28th Jan to 20th feb - will get only 3 options for GD-PI centres - Ghaziabad, Nagpur and Hyderabad.
Also, ur GD-PI process will be a little late - after the current schedule has been exhausted.
5) Process will be - a) document verification, b) Group discussion (including a written summary on the case, c) Personal Interview)
In the final selection, there is 50% weightage to entrance test scores.
i)The first PART of the GD-PI shortlist is on the basis of CAT results only.
The second part of the list, based on XAT/GMAT will come up a few days later – after those scores have been uploaded and processed – all it means is that the XAT/GMAT interviews will start a few days after the first GD-PI processes start.
ii) The emails for the same will be sent out phase-wise - first for a few centres, then later on for the other centres. So don't panic if you have a good score and you don't get a call in the first release of Gd-PI emails.
iii) Some of you with a poorer CAT score might get a call for Nagpur/Hyderabad campus initially. Again, don't panic and DEFINITELY ATTEND THE INTERVIEW FOR THE SAME. Later on, if your XAT score is good, you will be considered for Ghaziabad campus also. (And your specialization preferences for the now-converted IMT-G call will be taken from you later.)
iv) If you have not given CAT but only XAT/GMAT – you will not get a call in the first list but later on.
So what it means is that you will NOT get 2 interview calls. But for final evaluation, your best score will be taken.
So, so sum up, We have the following possibilities:
a) You get a good CAT score and get the campus call you want.
b) You couldn't do well in CAT - you didn't get a call for IMT at all OR
c) Based on your CAT score, you got a call under the Nagpur or Hyderabad campus.
Do attend the interview. The interview is a standardised metric, used across all campuses.
Later, when your XAT results are considered -
d) you didn't get a call at all earlier - but now you get one.
e) you got a call for Nagpur/Hyd earlier, attended the interview - but your XAT score is good enough to qualify you for a Ghaziabad convert - then your XAT score will be considered for final evaluation and Not the CAT score.
Let's make one thing very clear - IMT is Not forcing you to join any campus. The choice is up to you.
6) Specialisation preferences – you will have to provide these in a separate form – when you get a GD-PI call.

@catcrkr m frm Ghaziabad but m working in Lucknow with Tata Motors. Where r u frm ? My score was 97.07 (VA - 98.5, QA - 89.11)
@lohitgupta Sir, it's clear change of date isn't allowed. Will they at least allow reporting a little late. My IIM L GDPI is from 9am and that of IMT is at 12.30. Would it be okay if I reach the venue late ? Would they at least consider moving my GD and PI to the last group of the day ?
Mt CAT score is 96.64 with sectionals of 98.25 and 89.96. I selected Bangalore as my GD PI center and i haven't got a call yet. I filled my application form on 2nd Dec (if i remember correctly).
Anyone who filled their application forms around the same time and with Bangalore as their preferred GDPI center got their calls?
