ye sala college kitne paise kamaegaa forms se , it's hard earned money guys , 200 300 seats me kya 10000 logo se paise khaoge 
Extension of deadlines => More applications => More income for college => Increase in cutoff (due to those students who were earlier thinking that they'll not score good enough and hadn't applied, but have now got a better score)

@Bibhu2109 @Achintya11 Nope, no profile based calls. They have clearly stated that calls are given out strictly basis your cat/xat/gmat scores. profiles are considered only for final admissions.
@Bibhu2109 IMT gives out profile-based calls, too???
This is news! How do they get the profile? As far as the form is concerned, it is not exhaustive enough to accommodate someone's complete profile (like in case of S P Jain)
@Achintya11 m both happy as well as sad with the deadline extensions. Happy cos it means that IMT has still not got the reqd number of applications and hence lesser mortals like me with low cat percentiles, stand a chance! Sad, cos it means that IMT's stock has gone so low that they had to resort to 2 deadline extensions to get the reqd number of applicants. OR maybe this is just one of the many other technical glitches on their website

@BaTamizh_Bhukad No dude, this is no glitch... I talked with IMT-G admin today mrng & they said application forms are still open, we can fill it up by today evening.. Even though they didn't confirm the deadline to be 20th Feb(which I asked specifically)...
@BaTamizh_Bhukad IMT has many many applications. Last year number of applications were close to 16000+ (saw on MBA Universe) . And it can be also evident that this is the most discussed thread among all the other threads on PG( From which i assume that college has got sufficient applications) . So i don't think number of applications would be a problem. May be a technical glitch, as last year too, even though application deadline was not extended beyong 20th JAN, still students were able to apply post deadline. I think this has been a major issue with IMT's portal. Their admission process is getting sadder year by year !!

My XAT - 83 %, X-85, XII- 81, Grad ENgg- 72.10%, Work Ex- 34 months. CAn I expect a call from IMT-G.
