Each section of VA, QA, DI has 20 questions each at 3 marks for the correct answer and -1 for the wrong answer.

I got mauled by the Sim today, screwed because of the bad planning and flawed execution:
Started with Verbal-easy RCs, tricky jumbles, easy FIBs and workable SCs.
Quant was moderate but definitely trickier than Open Sim, spent way too much time than planned here leaving only 30 minutes for DI.
DI-Moderate, screwed it because of lack of time, pressure.
A good plan should easily get you >75.

I too wrote SIMCAT 3 today. I didn't get marks at the end. So is there any way out to know the marks or do I have to wait for analysis to come.

Same here , the screen said scores submitted successfully but couldnt get the performance report or the review of my test.

P.S. - The madhapur ( hyderabad ) center was good , but the test started an hour late due to server problems and what not

Kind of looks like an easy paper to me. Guys, please suggest preparation for Quant from scratch. Quant is doing me in.

QA:-13(10/3) :- 27 (Disappointed )
VA:-17(10/7):- 23 (Was tougher than that in open simcat,still an unacceptable score:banghead:
DI:- 14(11/3) :- 30 (Disappointed )


OA:-44(31/13)=80 :- Bad accuracy and a lethargic approach screwed it for me .Had I got 5 more correct,it would have been a good outing.


P.S.:-I found the paper comparitively tougher than Open Simcat
Waiting for the analysis now.

Dude, a humble questions to you..? dont mind it!!! You have performed so well in season 2009 & 2010, why didnt u join any college this year or previous year..? Just out of my curiosity and doubt i am asking you, why are you giving cat again this year???

MDI was the only convert I had this season. I decided to wait one more year. Hopefully next season will be better one.

After the test was submitted ,three links had come up on the screen.
To check the scores,one should click on the very first link named PER .It takes one to the available scorecard.

Not a single link came in my case. "Attempting to connect server" was the only thing that popped up on the screen.

link came n my screen but failed to check the scores as link were not working, any other way 2 know the score.

Hi All,

I gave my simcat 2 today and i couldnt see my marks. It showed submitting and then browser got closed due to mysterious circumstances!!!
Where can i see my results now??

First mock since CAT 2010. Very very rusty but felt good to get out there again Took a long long time to wake up. And was ridiculously slow with the calculations(doing it after almost 8 months). So just 45 attempts. But scores didn't come up. And the site also doesn't have the scores uploaded yet.

I found QA of good level. 15 attempts(Should have 13-14 right)
DI I found easy but lengthy. Couldn't see an entire set of 3. 14 attempts(Should have 11-12 right)
I think the VA was tough. 2 out of 3 RCs were tough. Lengthy jumbled paras too. 16 attempts(Hope atleast 10 right)
Any clue on how to check the results ?

Converts - NONE :splat:

Checked with the centre and IMS forum Results can now only be seen after 9pm on 6th...hope it helps 😃

Hi Ankit

Are you referring to the FINAL results or for the score to be sent to us. I wrote my exam on 2nd July, when can i expect the reslut?

Sorry for spamming...

I could not appear for Simcat-2 of my slot on Sunday. If I miss to take it in invigilated format can I take it in non-invigilated format ? If yes, how ?

And one more things any Idea if we can change our IMS center, I am registered with one center in Pune which does not give six days window but only sunday as test date. but other center in pune have six day window for test.
