To Discuss about sectional tests of IMS

DILR - 1

OA - 76

More or less easy sets. Got lucky with a few assumptions.

DILR 1 - 23A/21C = 62

DILR 2 - 18A/17C = 50

DILR 3 - 17A/13C = 36

DILR 4 - 28A/27C = 80

DILR 5 - 20A/18C = 53

VARC 1 - 36

VARC 2 - 26

VARC 3 - 23

Kindly make one consolidated post per user for scores.. use separate posts to discuss any particular test or question..

DILR-1 OA 60(22A 20C) easy sets, could have scored more for sure.

DILR-3 OA 46 (18A 16C) decent level of sets

DILR-4 OA 44 (20A 16C) made really silly mistakes :(

DILR-5 OA 60 (20A 20C) couple of really easy sets.

DILR-1 (23A20C)=59 Messed up, Should have been 65+.

DILR 1 24C/28A - 69

DILR 1 (69)- Easy sets.. still happy since I have never crossed 52 in this section

QA 1 (29) I have seen the face of God. The toughest QA sections I have come across. Atleast 4 to 5 questions were like RC's

Did anybody attempt DILR 3? Found it to be fairly tough..

Also, in the 6 families and newspapers (DNA/TOI) set, does condition e. necessarily imply that there was 1 family which did not get any newspaper? I thought that it just meant that the Iyers weren't neighbours with any family which didn't get any newspaper.

VARC Sectional Test 1: 48 Found the RC's to be really difficult (extremely close options). If anyone else has attempted the test, do comment on the difficulty level.

DILR 1 : (24/26) 70 DILR 2 : (16/20) 45 DILR 3: (18/20)  53 DILR 5: (21/23) 61

When and how many workshops are conducted by ims for cat? And When is the next workshop in Delhi?

QA sectional 1: 28(only 12 attempts....could this BE any lower?)

VARC 1- 33 (29/14)

VARC 2- 34 (25/14)

VARC 3- 24 (23/11)

VARC 4- 22 (26/12)

DILR 1- 67 (26/23)

DILR 2- 30 (19/12)

DILR 3- 30 (16/11)

QA 1- 14 (9/5)

QA 2- 35 (22/14)

Q- How much time should one spend in reading one RC?

A-https://m5mej.app.goo.gl/yGBG

QA 1, QA 2, QA 3 QA 4... scores ranging between 28 to 35.. Finding these sectional tests really difficult. @donVCorleone @akash12191 @drishanvyas please comment on the difficulty level.

How do I interpret this?

"How many tasks are completed in 9 hours?''

Does it include only the taks completed in 9 hours exact or it includes all the tasks completed WITHIN 9 hours i.e. tasks completed in 5,6,7 hrs as well?

Has anyone given VARC section test-5. If yes, how was the experience? Or has anyone given first 5 sections tests in VARC...I am finding them too weird too vague unlike CAT...

Are the VARC section tests worth attempting? I've tried tests 1-3 and didn't find them close to CAT level. How are the others 4-10?
