we have finished 1st month of studies at imi...

I have heard thre were 60 seats for The HR program, but IMI has only been able to fill 40 odd seats inspite of sending joining letters to close to 500 students. is the HR program so bad that IMI has not been able to one third of its seats and students who dint make it anywhre found it worthwhile to give CAT again rather than joining the IMI HR program?

well govinda, this yr for the pgphrm prog, imi gave 360 gd/pi calls. due to the delay in receiving aicte approval, the final list came out only on 13th may, by when many of the students had taken admission elsewhere. the total (original + waitlists) no. of final calls given out were around 175. out of which 46 ppl have accepted the offer. since, imi didn't want to compromise in quality, it resisted from giving more no. of calls. plus, many ppl whicle applying tick on HR option just for the sake of it, but when finally selected, opt out of it. HR, being a specialised field it requires complete clarity in student's mind over the subject.

howz the PGPHRM programme doin? did it get the AICTE approval.... n what's the scene for summers there at IMI, specially the PGPHRM programme... Do let me know how the programme is progressing....
