IIT Kanpur has declared the final result and the same can be checked from the below site if you have not done the same yet.
Congratulations to those who have converted the calls.
Please note some important things:
(1) sufficient number of calls are given for each category so there are very high chances that there won't be any wait list movement this year also.
(2) offer letters are being sent to each candidate who has converted the call and you will find all the details in it. Please let us know immediately if you don't receive the Hard copy by 10th May 2013.
(3) the fees for your batch will be approximately 39000 Per semester.

Hello Everyone.. I am having some doubts and i believe that seniors will help me in clarifying the same.. Currently i am working as software developer in Infosys, bangalore.. I am looking for MBA just to get Business Analyst/Product Manager profile in an IT company. Means i don't want to go in Sales and Marketing profile. I cm to know that so many financial instutuions ot IT companies come for placement and provide investment banker, Business Development or any other profile which indirectly related to Sales or Marketing. It happens mostly in IIM. So can anybody help me out whether IIT Kanpur will be good for me or IIM Kozokode..
I have checked out the IIT Kanpur placement but failed to analyse whether IT company comes in campus or not. Also if some companies come then what profile they offered.

Hi all,Here is an important information for you. I have attached herewith some part of your offer letter which includes useful details please go through the same. Some important Point are as below:
(1) For accepting IIT Kanpur offer you need to send Demand Draft of 39,542 INR by 10th June 2013.
(2) Draft should be made in favor of Registrar, IIT Kanpur, payable at Kanpur
(3) Mention your IIT K Application number, Cat Registration number and your name behind the Demand Draft and send it to the following Address:
The Head,
Department of Industrial and Management Engineering,
Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur,
Kanpur – 208016 (UP).
(4) Last Date for receipt of your Demand Draft at IIT Kanpur- 10th June 2013.
(5) College starts from 19th July 2013
Please Read further detailed instruction in the attached file. Offer letters have already been dispatched to the selected candidates and the same should reach to them by 10th May-2013.

Please have some patience for receiving the offer letters. offer letters are already sent by post and you should receive the same from next Monday(13-05-2013) onwards. Last date for submission of the Demand draft as a token of IIT K offer acceptance is 10th June-2013
