* The admission is provisional in case of OBC Candidates who needs to submit the OBC Certificate, the format of the same is being sent to the candidate along with the admission offer letter.

cant make head or tail of it..

is it to prove noncreamy layer status?? logically it cannot be since i ve already given my salary figures that show i m indeed creamy

after a wait of 3 looong years, I ll be joining an IIM..

Calls - L & I - both converted
B.E. Computers, IET(DAVV), Indore - 2005 passout.
Worked with Kanbay for 2 years.
Currently working with JP Morgan for the last 9 months.

I am coming Lucknow....

i was called in GEN category..am an OBC creamy layer candidate..
The admission offer look like this

You will have to send us your formal written acceptance on the prescribed form enclosing a Demand Draft of Rs.50,000/- drawn in favour of `IIM Lucknow' payable at Lucknow, so as to reach us latest by May 19, 2008. Failure of this will be construed as withdrawal of the candidature, and the right of Admission will be forfeited.

Is this OBC certificate jus to prove i m OBC...or else creamy/non creamy..

I thought they already kno I m creamy from the salary fig
