Pradeep.

Man.....do keep postin such stuff.....this is one almighty cool list....And have fun in Spain dude Hopefully some of us will be extollin the virtues of goin to ESADE next yr

Hi Kunal,

Barcelona... sounds good. I am sure the interaction with so many people from different differnt universities would surely be a lovely experience.

I will be travelling to paris and barcelona somewhere in June or july. Are you around that time?

Regards,
Santosh

nopes santosh, me going in september
:(
the exchange happens in 5th term from sept to december
:)

aahhh pity 😞

May be in india sometimes 😃

By any chance, did you ever get Mr. Roger from enterprise center in Oxford Brookes University as your guest lecturer especially for entrepreneurship? He was visiting IIM-B and running a project on woman entrepreneurs in India in collaboration with IIMB.

Regards,
Santosh

Hey Kunal.

Is exchange part of the term or a trade off for summers ? Forgive my ignorance

cheers
lazy

we go on exchange during 5th term
people who stay here study at iimb
anyways grades of 5 and 6 term are not counted for placements
:)

hey Kunal

When does one apply for Exchange Prog ?
And is it more beneficial than staying at IIMB. How much does it cost for that ? and i am assuming that we have to foot the whole bill ?

And thanks for all the help u r extending mate.
Hope to see u in Bangalore.

cheers
Pushkar

Another question pertaining tgo the exchange program .

How does the institute select the students who can attend the exchange program ? Also , are the no. of seats at each of the partner insts limited ? And does the inst. fund the program or does the student have to pay the term fees at the partner inst and the accomodation charges ?

Thans for taking time off to ans these questions Kunal .

Nikhil

hi pushkar and nikhil,
u apply for exchange program in 3rd term

if u go abroad u get an opportunity to study in the best b-schools of the world if u go to GSB,LBS,etc and visit all of europe(travel a lot) if u go to places like where i am going
but if u go abroad u miss out on most of the inter collge b-school contests in india which are held mostly in term 5

assuming u foot the bill it costs 1.25L to 2.5L depending on which part of the world you are going to
but usually u get college aid or some scholarship so it comes to 1.75L

yes seats are limited at partner schools
this time we had a total of around 75 seats but ppl dint want to go to singapore or south korea or thailand so only around 69-70 are going

selection criteria is marks upto term 2 and a personal interview to give u a rank, which decides what colleges u can choose

bye for now,
kunal rana
