Does IIMU publish the student's profile. Can somebody provide a link here and also I saw the placements are done along with the PGP students. What kind of roles do the students are offered in Placements?
@DreamOvrReality: The IIMU website is going through a major overhaul. It will be up and running by Feb End 2013. The placements will be done alongwith the PGP students from Jan-March.

please tell me about the procedure for submitting gmat score. Do the colleage require official gmat score. If yes then where should i send it- iim-u or purdue university or both. Please reply as early as possible.
Purdue requires the official GMAT and TOEFL/IELTS/PTE scores to be sent to them.IIM Udaipur will require only a copy of them both which can be sent through the application or online itself. The admissions office is one of the best and will act on your query on a real time basis.

Hi @rahuldsz ... I am a prospective student for this 2014 intake. BE and PG in ops mgmt (Weekend course) . I am interested in making my career in Supply chain / Operations Consultancy domain. With over 3 years of work-ex in Telecomm/IT industry.
I want to know about how good would this prog be for field/domain changers like me ?
Wat abt the placement scenario .. if they are international/Domestic ?? Please advice.

@heirapparent : With respect to question No.1 of domain switching, we have a subject in IT in SCM being taught to us by Industry experienced Ex-IIMA Graduate. This subject is of a lot of interest to our IT domain students. We also have in our class-2 students who are from the IT background. Based on their interview, the panel decided that his aim for switching from IT to SCM was genuine and hence selected him.
We are looking at profiles where we will be dealing with the SCM of the company.
The placement for the first batch will commence from January-March 2014. The companies being targeted are Retail, FMCG, IT Consulting, Telecom Consulting, Pharma, Logistics, Automotive etc. We have guest lectures who are heads in SCM in their respective industry domains. Hence a lot of work is being put into this programme. Also our Director, Dr. Janat Shah is a veteran in Operations and SCM. He is the mentor for this programme having kick started it.
Both internship/placement locations are decided by the company. Since we are not yet through to the placement stage, i can provide you the numbers only when that happens.

Can you highlight the Composition of the Current Student's profile and experience. Is there is a site where if it is already published and you can provide a link to it?

Batch Profile: We have people from the Power sector, Automotive manufacturing Electrical QA, Consulting, IT Domain, Apparel manufacturing, Aerospace Manufacturing, R&D;, Retail and Telecom.
Work experience varies from 2.5 years to 6 years.
Actually the IIMU site is undergoing a major overhaul. I am really not sure when that is going to become active as the college authorities and the students are busy in the convocation.
