Just received a mail from admissions committee of IIM rohtak regarding fresh round of GDPI rounds to be conducted for vacant seats. Mail is as below:
Dear ____________
On account of release of last round waiting list by some of the older IIMs, a few vacancies are likely to arise in the Post Graduate Programme in IIM Rohtak. To fill these few vacancies a fresh round of GDPI is likely to be held on 25.06.2011 at IIM Rohtak Campus. If you are interested to be considered for the same please confirm your willingness by return mail, not later than 5.00 pm of 23rd June, 2011
Only confirmed candidates will be send confirmation of GDPI call. Selected candidates may be required to appear for registration on 29.06.2011 along with the Term-I fees of Rs.1,85,000/-

Nopes. no IIM call before. This mail is also just an enquiy about candidates willingness to attend. And as per mail they will be giving calls on very short notice. Just one day to travel from one end to other.

Buddy i can understand wht u might be feeling right now but if you have read the admission policy carefully you might not have thought about taking legal action against them. For your benefit I am pasting the link which clearly says that they have all the right to modify admission process at any part of time till the admission process is completed.

I am not supporting them or claiming that what they are doing is fair or unfair, just saving your bucks that you were about to waste in taking some kind of legal action against them.
