POST GRADUATE PROGRAMME IN MANAGEMENT FOR EXECUTIVES (Ex-PGP)
The Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (Ex-PGP) of IIM Indore, is a full-time 12-month programme uniquely designed to develop the potential of executives and entrepreneurs by providing them an opportunity to enhance their knowledge, skills and attitudes. Through an efficient modular design, combined with innovative assignments, team
projects and an international module, the Ex-PGP will enable participants to effectively deliver superior performance at theirworkplace.
Selection
The selection will be based on candidates academic record, scholastic achievements, performance in CAT/GMAT, personal interview and relevant work experience after graduation.
Program Structure and Curriculum
The 12-month programme consists of 5 terms. The first two terms have compulsory courses that act as building blocks for the subsequent terms. The programme initially focuses on building a broad foundation of theoretical knowledge about management through core modules covering various functional areas. During the later phases of the programme, the focus will be on specialisation through elective courses.
The international module in the last term will provide global exposure to the participants enhancing their capability to work effectively in multicultural environment.
Pedagogy
The pedagogy will be a judicious mix of lectures, case discussions, project work, term papers, role-play, seminar presentations,assignments, videos, management games, and simulations.
Award of Diploma
On successful completion of the programme, participants will be awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Management for Executives
Programme Fees and Payment Schedule
The programme fee is Rs 11,00,000/-, which covers tuition, teaching materials, computer use, lodging and boarding duringthe residential period and expenses for the international module (travel, accommodation, board and tuition only). Personal expenses such as travel, clothing and laundry will have to be borne by the participant. Fee for NRI/ International candidate is US$ 35000. The fee is subject to revision.

Here is what the CAT bulletin says.
"Candidates seeking admission to the 12-month Ex-PGP of IIM-Indore (2009-10 batch) either have to appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT 200
or submit their GMAT score. The GMAT score should have been obtained between August 1, 2005 and November 12, 2008.IIM Indore will conduct admission interviews, for selection of candidates to Ex-PGP, in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata,Mumbai and New Delhi. Interviews may also be conducted in Dubai and Singapore. "
As per this, I think CAT 2007 score may not be valid for this. However, please wait for a separate announcement for the course in leading dailies.
As far as number of seats are concerned, I have no definitive information, but as per my understanding the batch size should be between 60 -80.

Can any one clarify whether the online application form for IIM-I ex-pgp-1 yr is declared till now(for 2009 )? The iim-i site has not uploaded the online appn form on its site as of now.(Even though they have written that the last date for receiving completed application by them is 12th nov'2008

Its painful to see the mis-management by IIMs when it comes to admission process esp. executive courses. IIM-A didn't think it necessary to ask for essays,recos,etc. before shortlisting candidates. IIM-C adopted an old age method of drafts/hard copy app forms. IIM-B messed up in its online application software sometime back(as reported by other puys). And now joining the bandwagon of erring IIMs, IIM-L says the last date is 12th but doesn't give application form online till today. ISB is way way ahead in managing this process and the comparison between it and IIMs looks like a comparison of HDFC and SBI banks.
Anyway, coming to the topic. Website says:
A separate Ex-PGP Application form also needs to be filled for applying to Ex-PGP. For obtaining the Application Form and Brochure, write to Ex-PGP Office, Indian Institute of Management, Indore 453331, with a crossed demand draft for Rs 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) drawn in favour of IIM, Indore payable at Indore along with a self addressed A4 size envelope. Applications can also be downloaded from the website www.iimidr.ac.in.
Since, the site doesn't have it, I think people must try getting the form by post. Did someone try it already? What all things it has and what all the application requires- recos/essays, etc?
Had sent mail to IIM Indore regarding availability of App forms .. NO RESPONSE.
Some guys on the IIMC thread posted info that the program data may be postponed ....
Leading management institutes are unable to manage their programs !

I am also facing the same dilemma...
I tried to contact IIM Indore admin office... but the person there told me that concerned person will be available after 17th ....!!!!
I have following doubts..
1. Has IIM I stopped Exec-PGP (18 months) ?
2. Has the last date for 1 year Exec-PGP been postponed?

Forms will be available online soon, and last date is not Nov. , Interviews will be in March. From reliable resources in IIM-I.
Not looking to create any debate here, just posted the info. that I had about IIM-I 1 yr. program.
