They have divided candidates into 5 categories. Top 50 percentile scorers from each category shall directly be chosen for GDPI/WAT round. For other candidates, they will use AR system.
Even in AR system,
--> They have introduced slabs for marks (6 in total Eg 90) for X/XII/Grad
--> They have introduced weights to the levels of edu (0.5 for Class X 1.5 for XII and 2.5 Graduation)

Disclaimer: I am not an engineer; but this change hits me as well(in a diff way). My Class X board had the topper scoring 90.7pc (mine 84pc). My graduation was in Commerce (B.Com where my score was 64pc and the topper hasnt crossed 70pc). I have done my CA as well as MCom (CFA L2 candidate). Workex is 15m +. None of them has any value now. (Facepalm)
