first of all lemme congratulate u on ur sterling performance in CAT..No worries for ya mate..i will get u as my junior next year atIIMA itself..Reg gen category i heard a percentile of 73 was lowest for B.Sc forestry..and above 80 for B.sc Agri..But seniors at IIMA tell me that for a realistic chance u need more than 90%..most are in 95-98%range at ABM for IIMA.For lucknow,the percentiles tend to be lower.....
So ATB for u ......Prepare as u r doing now n ur thru... 😁

i think only reason i got thru A ABM was my %ile(99.76), i answered only 2 ques correctly in 20-25 min PI, one of the worst exp in my life ...so % matters a lot in ABM......anyway here is my profile, hope it helps

Regarding quant cut offs, u might be surprised that a guy i personally know got call at 0% in maths,,so u can guess easily that for ABM,they tend to combine the scores of 2 sections together and give out calls,For eg,this year in all probs it was RC+QA having a stipulated cut off and VA+Di having another cutoff and there being an overall cut off.But dont worry,i am sure u will make it thru....As u say noone can predict what the IIMs want their interview candidates to be like.
I suggest u make the scores of abhi ur model and work hard....

congrats 4 ur mindblowing percentile in verbal.i know u were in top0.1% in 10th then also how do u prepared 4 verbal.which coaching material,what news paper,magazine.how many qs did u solved in vb in cat .how many rt/wrong.your score can be sorce of inspiration.abt my answer of joining abm.i want to join bt or pharma sector.as a vety we have been xposed to diverse field. u will come to know in ur senior batch 2003-2005 one guy VIVEKANAND REDDY IS THERE .he is my senior.previous them 3 vety were vety there in abm.so i wont be newone.hope i will be ur junior.

Thanks for ur compliments....W/r to my CAT, i attempted 47 qs in english and got 44 rght and 3 wrong.So had a net score of 43.I did lots of IMS papers which really helped me.TIME stuff is alsoogood,esp the mockcats...pretty close to CAT standards...I regurarly read HINDU editorial,Readers digest,,had gone thru time verbal cue cards,and made it a point to find out atleast 5 new words everyday.Thats all that i did.No regular magazine reading,though i did not waste an oppurtunity to read them whenever i can lay my hands on them...
I am sure u will be ther at the best school in asia pacific the next acad year..

Me got a call from IIM-A (ABM)....but unfortunately did not make it thru the gd/pi.
me percentile was 86...........on thing is for sure....u dont nedd anything more than a decent 90 plus percentile to make it thru into ABM.
I honestly felt that i had a gr8 chance considering that i did fairly well in the GD/PI....if i cud throw modesty to the wind....I think i was the best in my group...
i had a couple of vet guys withe me in me GD grp.....dunno if they have made it thru...
I will be giving it next yr too..My workex at Coke till then will top a year by then,so hope it helps.

well we had CL weekend classroom coaching and test series in Pantnagar. I joined only test series. so u can say that i prepared by myself.look, plz dont limit ur vision to ABM only......go for ABC, nothing less........just prepare for them,u will always get a call frm ABM if u get a decent %ile(and %ile matters in ABM). dont underestimate urself buddy and try for big ones
