How does IIFT release the resul and waitlists? Do they release pdf or they mail candidates? And is the composite score is also released along with it?

Dear Team,
Hope this email finds you well. Couple of weeks back (On May 8th), we received a communication from the media committee on IIFT Facebook page regarding why there has been a delay in releasing results and tentatively it may take another 2-3 weeks, and that the team respect the patience shown by us. We as students truly appreciate that acknowledgment and communication passed by the media team as it provided some picture.
We understand that Delhi is among the most affected places due to Covid-19 and owing to this, the lock-down in Delhi has been very strictly enforced. No staff member has been allowed access to administrative offices and this coupled with the fact that some processes were conducted in an offline mode making it difficult to devise a strategy to release the results.
The worrying part is other IIMs, especially the 9 IIMs who conducts CAP rounds has released their results 3 days back for all 9 IIMs. Some of us have multiple offers along with Wait-listed in some and need to pay a hefty 50k to 75k as a token amount to reserve the seat and offers can only be withdrawn within a stipulated date (less than a week with due date like May end or June 1st week). We can be patient as long as required, but loss of that kind of amount is something very painful mentally.
We also need to take into account that when IIFT results will be out, there will be many students in the Waiting list who have no probability whether they will make it or not and students who is going to make it will have some time period to accept their offers and then the Waitlisted students will get to know whether they make it or not.
We know that you understand this case, and hence we highly request you to please communicate and release the offers at the earliest. If possible, please let me know how much more time I personally can expect and device a strategy for my CAP calls.

Today 26 May, the day of Operation Dynamo (aka Battle of Dunkirk), I give up my faith on the damm AdCom members on FB (Sala PG mein ek bhi nahi hai koi), the Admin Office Telephone and the people who have the password of the helpline email of IIFT Delhi. With this silence from all comms, I now resort to good old probability and faith on randomness and declare that the results will come on Friday +- 12 Working hours(uncertainty). I will follow the faith in the Almighty like the soldiers on the shores of Normandy and Dunkirk and hope I see that god damm PDF uploaded this Friday

Every year many of us are in a dilemma around why MBA?, or am I the only one who wants to do MBA because it gives me a chance to live college life again or better still help me land a better job with higher payscale.
Then comes the dilemma of which college to choose from? Whether it should be an IIM or non IIM, a govt backed or private institue etc. etc. Therefore we have come up whith the best solution to help you make informed decisions and analyse yourself the thought process of thousands of students like you and see for yourself, what you think is what the most of the other students think or not. (More the responses better the analysis).. no individual responses are recorded or the email data is stored, all data would be collective response data, and this will take hardly 1 minute of your time to fill out.... :)
