Applications Invited for Admissions to PGDM Batch 2013-15

IFIM Business School has announced the admissions to its 2013-2015 batches. The 2 year full-time courses being offered by IFIM include: Postgraduate diploma in Management (PGDM), Postgraduate diploma in Management- International Business (PGDM-IB) and Postgraduate diploma in Management- Finance (PGDM-Finance).

Eligibility criteria: A student applying to IFIM Business School for PGDM, PGDM-Finance and PGDM-IB must have a valid percentile in CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT.

Scholarship: Upto 100% Scholarships for personnel who have Excellence in Academics, Sports & Cultural Activities, Paramilitary forces and student of excellence but need financial assistance from Padode Foundation in the form of fee waivers, based on certain eligibility criteria.

I have been working in a software firm for 17 months now, and will be around 20-21 months at the time of interview.

I am expecting a score of anywhere between 80-90 in CAT. I have secured 98.66 in May 2012 MAT, and 95.66 in September 2012 MAT.

What are my chances at IFIM?

Thankyou for enquiring with us. Based on your Sept. MAT & CAT Scores, your application can be accepted for the GD/PI Process of IFIM. The selection process for admissions would include you academic scores, performance in GD/PI, SOP, Work Experience & participation in extra curricular activities. Also, about the specializations offered. I am preferably looking at a Marketing/IB major, with an Operations minor. Is it possible?

@supreetkini The tution fee for PGDM General @ IFIM is Rs. 8 Lakhs. For our last passed out batch, the Average Placement has been @ Rs. 5.2 Lakh with the highest one opted for was Rs. 10.56 Lakhs. For more details on our placements, you can also visit the Placement section of our website. We also have a unique 4 month internship program towards the last sem for which the average stipend drawn is Rs. 7,700 for the current batch.

The specializations offered are in Marketing/Finance/HR/ Operations & IT.

We also have Major specializations/ PGDM Complete program based on IB & Finance and within IB you can opt for dual specialization...

last date 2 apply? Is it AICTE Approvd?

@naive1999 Yes we are an AICTE approved Institute.. Our last dates to apply are nearing. Would like to understand as to which Entrance have you given so that we can serve your query better..

@naive1999 We do accept the scores for all the entrance exams mentioned by you. Our minimum cut - off for the same is 60 percentile. For students who have appeared in Sept. Mat 2012, the last date to apply has been extended to 31st December..

@IFIMBSchool I am confused about the deadlines. I have attempted CAT, as well as May and September MAT exams. Can't I apply after I get the CAT results, using my MAT scores as well?

@supreetkini Yes you can apply based on your CAT Scores as well, but if you have already given your Sept. MAT and have got score above 60, then you can apply now as well. Since our Last dates to Apply based on Sept. MAT Scores is 31st December, you should decide and apply soon.

@IFIMBSchool In the online application, cannot I select two programs, for example PGDM, and PGDM-IB. At the moment, I am allowed to select only one.

@supreetkini Thanks for applying Supreet. We have just one option of Program Specialization within our Online Application Form process. But not to worry, as post your details are confirmed on Monday, you would receive a hard copy of the Application form in the coming week wherein you can fill the required preferences and details and send back the same to us.

@IFIMBSchool Oh! I thought that the online application form was it! So, I have to fill the hard copy once again.. I have made the online payment of 1100/-. That's it right?

can u please highlight the placement scenario for hr and marketing?? esp hr..because there are fewer job openings fr it..
