The candidates who qualify for the JEE Advanced exam will be competing for seats in IITs, IISc and ISM.
The candidates who did not qualify for the JEE Advanced exam can either give other engineering entrance exams, get admission in private engineering colleges or, those who give the exam for the first time, can drop an year to sit for the exam again.
