Congratulations!!

Considering the eurozone crisis, its best to avoid Europe, unless you have got a huge scholarship from IE.Try ISB next year! Best of luck!

Thanks kushagra452, for your reply but I have two a questions 1. whether its alum network be able to rescue me 2. it has able to maintain its rankings even during recession can that indicate anything?

Most welcome to share my thoughts here on PG.

1. Alum network does play a big role in getting a job, esp during tough times. However, considering that Europe has been experiencing high unemployment rates (UK, Spain, Greece etc..) getting a job for a non-EU citizen is extremely challenging.

Coming back to India with a IE MBA is an option. However, at times Indian employers are reluctant to give foreign MBA grads any 'leg up' over Indian MBAs (from IIMs, ISB, FMS, SP Jain, MDI etc). Therefore, many times people end up in the same job profile as their counterparts from Indian MBA schools.

You will need to network with IE alums in India in order to get the desired return.

2. Please do not pay too much attention to the rankings. The ground situation is bad - esp for Non- EU citizens. I have no doubt that IE will impart excellent education and give you access to top faculty. This experience will indeed be unique. However, there is a serious question mark over the short/medium term career impact.

Take an informed decision. Best of luck!
