My Experiences with ICICI PO GD/PI Hyderabad region 20/Nov/2013
About GD: we are a batch of 10Members, our judges are so fair and they GD topic, "Technology changing the future of education"
It continued for 10 min and we had some nice discussion and judges wants to conclude. And they let us wait for 5min for results and they read 3 names for PI (including Myself). overall 70% will be eliminated in GD.After 1hr i had PI,
About PI: Its all about ourself and some family details, about icici bank and abt banking sector.
it was well good nd out of 10 members nly 3 got selected i'm the one of it... my PI was also good(in my point of view)... bt sum tense how they will get shortlist us... as i'm fresher they asked me normal points dats it i think my PI was abt 10mins(approximately)... Hoping fr the best... lets see.... Hope this well be of great help for future aspirants of ICICI PO. TanQ
hello,I have a query.I passed out from NIT,Dgp this year.I am currently placed at Exide industries Limited.But, at present am not liking my job much.I came across these Bank PO ads of ICICI and filled out one.What I want to ask is how good are they?and even after getting their MBA in finance,can I still go for an MBA from IIMs if and when I crack CAT?

guys i applied for may august 2014 batch, i actually want to go for august batch so what do i need to do to attend for august batch and not may batch.
Warning of ICICI PO Prog course:
1) Hefty loan amount which you'll need to repay with 15% interest if you leave.(approx 3.5 lacs or more)
2) They will keep your marksheets(10,12 and grad) so that you won't be able to apply anywhere and as a loan security.
3) Your salary after 12 months of training will be approx 19000 p.m. only after EMI and other deductions which is the salary of a clerical grade person in PSBs
4) work profile will not necessarily be of a manager, rather you'll be required to go door to door for selling saving accounts, life insurance.
5) Listen to rash language of your boss if you could not sell any product for a day.
6) working hours will be 11 to 12 hours
7) Bondage to work at least 5 years or pay lacs of money.
Friends, ICICI Bank is a private entity made for earning profit. This programme is also a product of this bank being sold to jobseekers. This programme is having multitude of profits for the bank. They get employees who work for less payment(bcoz of EMI deduction) and they can't leave the job too as they'll need to pay a hefty sum which a middle class person can't afford. If somehow the employee even leave the job, s/he will need to repay the loan @ 15% interest....again a profit for bank.
This loan scheme is better (for organisation) than a fixed bond which most companies execute with new recruits. This is a strategy of this bank to stop its ever increasing attrition rate.
The only good part of this course is your 9 months training in Bangalore.
Pls be free to ask queries.....I don't want others to suffer becoz of this programme. This prog has made me suffer and today I am jobless at 26 age.....only n only becoz of this prog. But yes I have 2 yrs work-ex so I could apply to IBPS RRB scale-2......waiting for more vacancies. Pls pray for me.
However, I don't want to discourage the aspirants as what happened with me might not happen to others.You can visit ICICI's Bank branch and observe and talk to employees there. You can join this course if no other option is available as job is essential. But make an informed decision.
