Friends, please let me know 1 thing, the HR who have taken our last PI round have the authority to select or reject the candidate or they have only the right to give their remarks about our PI performance???After that,The overall result will be declared by the combination of marks/performance of written exam+GD+PI???? Please rply
Hi all,I'm from Delhi and appeared for written exam on 10th August. My gd was on 3rd September. Topic was "social networking in our lives" and the group comprised of 10 people out of which only 7 got selected for pi including me. Our gd was more like fish market for 10 minutes therefore after conclusion, our moderator(hot girl) asked some questions from 7 people individually infront of us. Dont make ur gd fish market because if u dont have points, u will be caught soon. In pi they asked me: 1)why banking and not engineering field? i replied well that i have got natural skills needed. 2)then they asked me about those skills. i replied well.3) now my problem was that im from reputed engg college DCE. They still asked me about reconsidering my decision about engg, i replied well.4) then they asked me about role of bank. i replied well.5) then What according to u will PO do after 1 year.i replied well6)full form of icici. i gave 4 sec pause then gave the right answer.7)ur biggest achievement. replied well.8)ur father work? replied well

I have cleared GD held on september 07th in Hyderabad........GD was very good and we were asked to discuss about topic"Generalization or Specialization"...and I was the initiative then........they released results of GD in 10 minutes .........60% people failed in GD. I have qualified GD ............Then,personal interview was very fine and I was asked to tell about myself without any complicated and twisting questions..............I am very confident on getting admission in IMA........

Congratulation to all who have cleared the exam..for clearing gd speak up...and be aggresive..u l get 1-2 mins to speak aur fod dalo uss waqt..aur gd will b cleared and for interview
they mostly check your communication skills and confidence..so babble,babble and babble is the mool-mantra and have some basic banking knowledge and if by chance u dont recollect correct information during interview then also speak somethng...n u ll easily get through the interview..ab hai job profile after selection..see in manipal in 1 batch there wud be roughly 800-900 ppl..among them 60 ppl will b in trade n finance,60 ppl will b in rrb and rest in retail banking(wealth+private+branch banking),only after 6 months sections diiferent sections will b segregated(ie trade finace,rrb.rbm)..u l need to wake up at 5:30 am for physical exercise which is compulsory for all..skipping nt allowed unless u hv a fractured leg..classes will start at 9 am n end at 6pm..thereaft u hv 2 wrk on several assignments n presentations..so only aft 12 o clock u l get tym 2 sleep but believe me teaching facilities and faculties r of world class..u cn feel the change with each passing days in urself..now after 9 months u l get ur posting...about 100 ppl will get back office work...n they r "The Lucky One"!!! and for rest..hahahaha..life starts...in branch banking ICICI has 2 main profiles..Personal banker(Privilege banker,Wealth mgmt) & CSM...PB will b getting some list of customers(400-500) and he/she has to call 20 customers each day,fix appointment with them and meet 4-5 customers every day and cross sell them bank products which is around 30.They hv to also take care of private customers who visit branch..there he/she needs some banking knowledge...rest is sales...CSM- same profile but difference is daily call making and customer visit is around 70-80% of wat Pvt bankers do plus handling all branch visiting customers.There are some more proflies like branch sales manager wr person has to handle account sales of branch,creditcard sales manager has to look after credit card sales..so if u r passionate about sales,then go for it..this job is 4 u. On hand u l get 20k..if u do brilliant sales then it will fetch extra 50k-80k @ the end of financial year...for any further queries u r mostly welcome..All d very best.. :-):-)

But, i do have a doubt, in the opq i have answered that i'm not interested in working with the numbers but i have done the test very honestly. will this effect my selection....?waiting for ur reply thanks in advance....
hello every1 I had GD PI on 2nd sep 2013 but the date regarding declaration of final results was not told to any one on that day. So is there anyone who is aware about it?
Secondly, in PI they asked whether I'll work in sales or not so I just want to ask you guys if u know that we appeared for PO then is there any possibility that they can keep us in sales department?
if yes then wats d difference bet a sales officer and a PO???
