Can you share what sort of feedback you got from the current batch going on ?
Do the course structure seems to be good ?
Are they giving stipends as promised ?
I guess by now they must have got very fair idea...how the things will come up in the coming times...
Would request everyone who all are in touch with the candidates in existing batch to share the feedback ....

Please throw some light on the curriculum, faculty, about various electives being offered, learning experience, how they feel on the shift from non-banking background to core banking & finance, has this course been able to meet their expectations ????????
I can answer few of your questions :
1) 14 subjects need to be studied in first 6 months and then there will be 6 month on job training.
( First year is common for all and then specifics comes in )
2) They are paying stipend of 10k per month and will be paying 50k while on job training.
3) ICICI's people keep on visiting campus and they are keeping close eye on how program is shaping up. ( ICICI is even keeping track of student's daily attendance )
Overall the impression which I got from my friend is positive. From campus to studies things seems to be pretty good.
There are only 2 questions which still lingers in my mind
a) degree from NIIT university.
b) 15 Lacs CTC - Break Up (Fixed/Variable)

I heard that more than 90% selected from north and western part of india. This is not to cook up a regional debate.FYI

Final results

Some people from chennai wh had attended the previous interview in Feb 2011 told that most of them selected were from north and western parts of india.Essentially the hindi speaking belt of the country.
In april 2011,81 were selected but only 58 joined it seems.

Sir,I have one sincere request from you.Bringing this matter "Hindi Speaking belt" should not be a point of differentiation ,since ICICI has regional heads in Hyderabad,Chennai ,Bangalore and so on.So as an organisation I would try to take people from all over India and only those who fit my bill. Its better for them to select people from everywhere.
Anywayz can't comment on this much.Lets wait for the results.
Come on guys...ICICI is the second largest private sector bank in India. It's got no place for Racism...however, what I'm genuinely concerned is about the weights given for each round. Is it only in theory or do they go only by the performance in PI?????
Also does anyone have any information weather they will fill the 62 seats that remained vacant in last batch?
If you notice, both my questions are directly linked to the probability of we getting selected....
If scores of each round of selection are considered, we have better chances....and if vancant seats are going to be filled we again have better chances....
To check if what my frend was telling is right about the selection of people from North and west region,I had a look into the list of selected participants in April 2011 batch. You can identify from the names and titles (I have stayed at bangalore for 4 years),there has not been any kind of racism, there is equal representation from each and every part of the country. Here is the list for everyone to see:

If they consider only PI marks, where does the marks for our Written matter go?
My opinion: Marks from Aptitude Test+GD+Written+PI will be considered with highest weightage for PI(say 65%) or so.
any idea guys reg the result as to wen it will b out
hi guys,
i appeared for icici po written and got a gdpi call for nov 2011 batch...
i m also appearing for cat 2011 plus psu bank po exams too..

am more intrstd in nu univ mba prog... but my b.com h aggregate is 56 prcnt..
guys plz suggest me as to wat to do as i donno their worth..

Hi Prag,
I can share my exp of appearing for icici p.o and niit icici mba prog. icici p.o in this u will have traning of 9 months at manipal university plus 3 yrs bond. For icici mba and P.o, prog the process is same. Except that the course will be a MBA program with residential at rajasthan. After successful completion of MBA u will taken to Grade level 2 in to icici. here again u have 3 yrs of bond. The diff is the level at which u work and thus the package. generally when they recruit b school students they are taken for Grade level 1. So in short after 2 yrs of course u will be absorbed at a gud post.
Hope this would help.
