Can somebody clarify this :
1. We need to send the ICICI Bank MBA Selection Letter(that contains the DD details) and the terms and conditions signed copy to NIIT University
2. We need to send the accepted terms and conditions document ONLY to ICICI Mumbai address.
Am I right? Please clarify ASAP.

@Abhi: You are right. But it would be better if you send DD, Acceptance letter (as per NIIT mail) & signed terms & conditions to both NIIT & ICICI. In case of ICICI, please send a copy of DD & acceptance letter. Signed terms & conditions should be sent in original to ICICI.
Also, it would be better to scan all these documents & send the copy of all these docs to both, NIIT & ICICI, so that they have confirmation that you have already sent the docs.....
will they be giving us any confirmation on our emails or by phone when they recieve our acceptance...?

Guys, I again got a call from HR..... In the morning, I called Amit Vatsa & now I got a call from Himal Rana regarding the queries. But I again took the opportunity to ask him replies to my queries. Below are some more refined points:
1. Specialization : Same - Banking technology, risk management and corporate banking. International finance may come
2. Location : For internships, it could be anywhere... But post-MBA, it would be either A or B class cities. When asked, what did it mean by B class cities, he mentioned B class cities meant capitals of states. Also, as per him, the position which is being offered is quite respected & responsible. Hence, has to be at an important business center, not in some small branch...
3. CTC : Same thing, 70-30 ratio.... Loan benefit component is not applicable for us till now.....

Hi Guys, I got a call from Mr.Himal Rana today morning.Below mentioned are the questions and respective answers given by him.
1) When will we get Course curriculum?
Ans: Detail info will be given when confirmation is received.
2) Why electives has been reduced to 3 when 6 where initially promised?
Ans: He said intially broad areas into which people are going to work were defined and this are proper roles which people will get like risk,credit,IT etc..der is a scope for few more depending upon the requirement.
3) Is ICICI going to absorb everyone at M2 role and 15L package?
Ans: Positive and affirmative reply. All the people will get this role and people with more higher exp might get higher role too and he has to successfully finish the course which is I guess bt obvious stuff.
4) Is Electives going to be decided on prior exp or will be given any preferences?
Ans: He said right now we havent decided anything yet. So we are going to take into consideration all the things like previous background, gd/pi performance, requirements at dat time and also how dat student is flaring in course.
5) Do we need to pay anythin other than 4.5L and 10k already paid like service tax on loan as mentioned on website?
Ans: We are working on that..we might waive of service tax or it will be something in de range of 20-25K.Nothing other then dat..hostel facilities, tuition fees and study material is inclusive except for mess and laundry which has to be borne by students from de 10k stipend provided every month.
6) Will everyone get stipend and wer will be internships locations?
Ans: yes everyone wil get stipend I know it was mentioned bt still I asked. About locations it can be anywer in india because internships is all about knwing the bank and its different processes dats wat he said.Post mba it will be in important locations mostly in Tier1 cities and mite be tier2 because role which is been provided is dynamic and challenging and pretty on higher side.
7)What certificates we need to keep wid icici?
Ans: he said it is common norm now dat when education loan is granted..certificates are kept as collateral till completion of loan.So all ur certificates and mba degree will be wid dem.
CTC breakup and what all components are involved?
Ans: CTC only involves Fix + Variable . No difference of interest is part of it.Also medical insurance,telephone bills, simcards, oder things are added benefits and are not part of CTC.Mostly it will be 75-25 or 70-30 breakup.
9) What about repayment of loan in case I leave company after 3years bt before loan period which is 5yrs?
Ans: He said if leave after 3yrs then interest will be taken @12.5% from de date of disbursal to discontinuation and thereafter @15% till complete repayment.He said if interest is not paid then it will be applicable @ 24%..I am still confused about 24% rate part, if anybdy gets call then please confirm on dis part. I am also going to ask dem again about this.I even told them if dats de case then I guess it is wise to tweak the terms and conditions because we are signing that and giving it as a proof, so afterwrds at a time of leaving icici can say that conditions wer given and u agreed to it and what u are sayin now is jus a conversion which is not be taken into consideration at dat time..but den he jus tried to get away from it and close de topic.
So overall it was satisfactory. He said dey will be in constant touch in coming days and from next week they are going to start loan processing once dey get confirmations.
I hope this wil help people to decide der future wid ICICI.I feel it is really nice course as I have spoken to people in ICICI and also oders in BFS domain over years.

Well..... whatever are the terms and condition 1 thing is for sure that this course is definitely good (After discussing with branch managers of ICICI bank and people associated with similar profiles) and lot of company's (ICICI) stake is also involved just like us. Thats why I have decided to join it anyhow and I have resigned it from the current employer.
See you all soon @ Neemrana. As far as I know there are 2 people from Pune who will be booking the tickets for Delhi soon so request you all that if anybody is from Pune please coordinate with us so that we can make the booking together. I have also checked on IRCTC there is no station like Neemrana so best possible way to reach there is by cheep flight to Delhi and then Cab to neemrana and thats what we guys will do from Pune.
@ All : Please update your plan too so that we can meet in Delhi on 28th and can all go together to Neemrana in the evening of 28th so that we will reach by 9.00 P.M. I guess its a 3-4 hours journey from Delhi Airport.

I received a call from ICICI HR today confirming for my address. He told that they are sending a letter, but when I enquired as what letter he had no idea.
Did somebody receive such a call? have everybody got only one letter as hard copy or have u received some other letter as well ?

Hard copy of all the docoments is just a formality now, as almost all of us has sent the printouts of mails.
It is just a copy of what we have already received via email.
And its a very good idea to go together, do we need to reach there at a particular time on 29th Apr or what, its hardly 2.30 hrs from delhi n almost every 2nd bus from D'kuan goes to Neemrana.
Delhi people can also meet & go together, like pune or other cities puys.....i think majority of puys who got selected are from delhi or NCR.

I went there this Sunday to checkout the NIIT campus and facilities, the campus is well built and all the PG hostel rooms are single seater.
There was no faculty or Admin staff available on Sunday so could not talk to them about the course, etc.
@A.B..u got too actually check everythin properly as in campus n hostel facilities, sports facilities and did u get chance to talk to any students jus to check how is everthin in and around university

A.B: Would it be possible to get some insight of any of the existing MBA students of NIIT universirt? If I am not wrong then first MBA batch started last year. If we can get any insights from them about the university then that would be helpful. Perhaps in terms of infrastructure or faculty etc.
