800 are above 44.4 44-50 are 450 consider avg 47+13= 60*450 50-54 are 220 consider avg 52+13= 65×220 54-58 are 130 consider avg 57+ 13= 70x130 ie 27k+14.3k+ 9.1k 50400÷800 = 63

  • cut off will be 63 if 13 int avg
  • Cut off will be 61 if 11 int avg
  • Cut off will be 62 if 12 int avg

Hi, I have completed interview IBPS IT officer post....


Actually my query is I have done my Engineering after diploma that mean lateral entry mode(directly joined in 2nd year).



But in notification education should be in 4yr Engineering degree...



Can any1 confirmed I am eligible for this post??


Note: My diploma also lateral entry

 Hi Guys ...Got this from one of d grp 

check k and suggest for same
Below are the Deciding factors:-
1. English language cat level- Many candidates not selected becz of this cutoff-44.4 

2. PK not so easy and some 5 to 6 Questions in each slot are tough/confusing options    so max marks in pk is 60-65 for max 10 people in worst case. 

3. As per last 3 years cutoff was decised from 200 marks which is further scale to 80  so as per last 3 years cutoff was min. cutoff marks +16 i.e. 61 apprx. 

4. Some people saying seats are less but it will be applicable till written results beacuse now ratio is 1:3.5

5. Many candidates apporx 100 not appeared in interview due to SBI clash or some other reasons(NOC not given by Current Org./Not interested etc)

6. As per PG Group and whatsapp grp there are more than 5 polls for IBPS score and all Polls are giving result that 60-65 % score <50 marks  so approx 700 candiadates score <50

7. Also from link of Excel sheet in PG and whatsapp grp out of 70 people only 10 Score more than 51 marks and out of them 4 is OBC    so using this stats for general category < 51 marks = 420 people out of 475(considering 20 absent min.) and > 51 marks= 55 people apprx. 

8.  As per last 2 years selected candidates cutoff out of 200 +8 marks is always safe which is 5 out of 80  so considering this 49 +is safe.
So Considering all above Points cutoff of Genral should not exceed 61 marks.Also Interview marks is Deciding factor specially for < 49 marks.
