asked why u want to join bank , osi layer difference from tcp/ip , big data analysis data warehouse , data mining ,data mart , how we can provide security in network , diff between ipv6 and ipv4 ,how ipv6 can be written in which format, how to prevent an attack on presentation layer , wat abt preventing attack on session layer what is ETL and ELT,
what is hashing
few questions abt hobby
at my centre they asked abt expereince from ex persons from freshers they just asked few question abt java dbms and mostly from hobbies
surprised dat noone asked abt any banking terms among 32 candidate
Almost everyone i met is thinking they all will get selected .....well to be realistic only 1 in every 3 is going to make it.....so?....What are the deciding factors ?..Whats the lucky maths ?

timing - 9 am
interview duration - 15 min.
Reached venue at 8:30 am , then the security guard instructed to wait in cafaeteria , they gave free poha and chai as a complementry breakfast ( the chia was typically dhood kam paani jyada type :P) , then after having breakfast we moved towards HR room.
Doc verification done smoothly ( female HR was nice with me ), i was alloted 2nd no. :D
It was my first interview , so was bit nervous beacuse i was fresher too ( i knew that they surely gonna ask about that :P )
my turn came , one of the HR called my name to wait outside the door ( meanwhile the panel were busy in eating breakfast ),
i knocked the door , they said "come in" , i went inside , panel of 4 ( 3M + 1F)
greeted all of them, then they said have a seat.
so the interview started ...
M1 - so mr. deepak sonkusale ( he fumbled in pronuciation of my name , i corrected him :P)
from where do you belong ?
me - nagpur sir
M1 - oh great , so what is famous in nagpur ?
me - oranges sir.
M1 - only oranges ?
me - not only oranges sir , haldiram ( famous food chain of sweets and namkin) is also famous , geographical center point of india , RSS (political party) headquarter.
M1- tell me the name of head
me - no idea sir.
M1- so why you want to join bank , why dont you go for private job ? and why 2 years gap after graduation?
me - i answerd merits of having govt job blah blah blah.... (M2 was laughing i noticed and M3 was staring .. was so creepy ) and about gap i told that sir i wanted to dedicate completly on my banking exams thats why.
M1 - tell me about cloud computing ?
me - answerd
M2 - tell me any 2 topics from grad.
me - answerd
M2- what is O.S , types , linux , open source , versions , processors . JVM , compiler all basics
me- answerd except linux
M3 - tell me about RBI?
me - bank of banks , regulate monetery policy of india.
F1- your dad is working in nabard so tell me about functions.?
me - answerd smoothly ( childs play for me :p , impressed though )

TIPS- remember one thing , don't be confused , answer confidently with decent smile , rest all will be good.
one of the panelist grinded me about stability and demoralised me for being fresher for 2 years but i convinced him so he was like chalta hai.

For IBPS SO Interview, is it mandatory to carry 10th & 12th passing certificates or carrying marksheets is enough?

SBI SO new Delhi LHO interview exp....
First of all i have 6 years of exp in a TOP MNC so i think my interview more help to exp guys.....
Reached LHO at 12, Then Doc Verification... went smoothly....
... Above mentioned doc are mandetory coz without them theyy will not allow you to appear for interview... other then these they will take underwritting... in my batch they didnt allow 3 peoples for interview..... 1 guy- didnt had degree... he might have some pending backlog in college.... 1 girl - did betech in electrical and electronics... which is not valid... 3 guy... in his degree instead of betch engineering... there was mentioned bsc engineering.. they said him to get a cert form his office that mention this is computer science engineering.................
ok , doc verification ends up at 2 PM, the panel went for lunch.... then they start again from 3.....
My turn come at 4:40.....
Panel of 4 Male(1 was DGM) + 1 Female HR
The one man who sit in center ...he is DGM and he asked 90% questions....
First they ask.... where you do job... i Told... then why correspondence address is diff... i told i frequently change room , the address which i write is my home address where i father do job...so any doc which will Post to me will surely reach me.....
Then he(center man) Said ok to tum web developer ho.....
Me: Not exactly.... Maine kafi tech mai kaam kiya hai.... like i was trained in Dotnet... then when i went in Production ... i got a project of Sharepoint ... then i did Exchange server 2010 support... the dotnet application development... and currently i am working in a middleware product called APIGEE......
He: What is APIGEE.... is it my company product..
Me: No, i explained.... it is Indian Product which was aquired by Google some years back....
He: So thats why there is 'G' in last.
Me: No sir, uska naam he yahi tha.... sab hasne lage jaruri thode hai jo Google kharid le usme G ghused de.
He : Ok What is API.
Me: Explained in detail( usi pe kaam karta hu pata hai pura gyan bina mehnat k :P)
He: Why we need API management Platform.
Me : Again Explianed in Deep...:p
He: Agar nai hoga to kya hoga.
Me: Again Explained....(sab kaam se pooch rahe ... andar se soch raha tha maja aa gaya)...
aise hi kuch or questiones puche rgarding API and API managment tool.... uske he asked.
He: Do you know API Monitization.
Me: I said ...sir API monitering to suna hai but ye nai.
He: ok Koi na. then he told me kya hota hai. Then he asked ab batao kahi dekha hai .
Me: i understood quickly and get the Idea... and told him some other examples.
bhai bahut lamba ho raha hai ye... office jana hai :P ..
in brief ...... jispe kaam kiya hai uska pura pata kar lo..... ya koi project kiya hai college mai ... coz exp. bando se bahut pooch rahe hai ghus ghus k...... i you will try to fake... they will catch for sure...... i know what i am doing ..so interview was really good for me....
