Before getting to the final verdict about So vii. I want to mention some imp points::Â
I> The most imp thing to notice that normally mains exam of any bank is of 200 marks which is scaled to 80 accd to 80:20 scheme. Thus if u r ahead of some candidate by 15 marks in exam of 200 marks , after scaling u will be (15*80)/200 = 6 marks ahead of that candidate out of 80. Thus after scaling gap B/w marks decreases.
But the problem here is that mains exam is of 60 marks. When scaling to 80 the gap will increase as difference of 15 marks out of 60 will mean a gap of (15*80/60)= 20 marks  out of 80.
2. Effect of PCA ::
Actually no one knows the effect of PCA on vacancies. We will witness the effect on april 1.
Vacancies this yr: (62-UR)(120-T) = BOI(80), Canara(20), Allahabad(20)Â
BOI and Allahabad bank are currently running under PCA.Â
3. Banks with NR vacancies ::Andhra Bank, Indian Bank and PNB
Frankly after what happened last yr I donât expect increase in vacancies. Also banks are running under NPAs. If by chance they report then the increase will balance the decrease. So let us assume that vacancies remain the same.Â
22 exam(out of 60) or 29.3/80 is cut off for getting shortlisted for interview
Accd to the trend that we are witnessing from Ibps so ii,+ 17.5 should be the gap this time if vacancies donât decrease. But the bitter truth is that the new gap is always higher than the previous gap.
So if we see 10 -12 % decrease as witnessed last yr the gap should increase by +1.3(approx) and final cut off (17.5+1.3) which means +18.8(approx).Â
Considering all parameters the gap should be +17.5-18.8. Â Â Â Â
The whole analysis will fail incase the the concentration of students lying near to cut off is very very low. By this I mean let us assume that  for 120 seats 360 are shortlisted but out of them 300 are having high score only 60 are lying near cut off with low score. Ibps just maintains its ratio. It doesnât care abt the marks. So such case is also possible. Frankly I donât think that will happen since the max gap that I have seen is +19 in ibps. But in rural banks I have seen even +23 for some states in officer level exam.Â
I think worst to worst it should be +20 (that is also not possible but assuming).Â
So 29.3+20=49.3.
Each and every one will get 8 atleast. So 49.3-8=41.3. Coverting to 60, we get 31, which means anyone with (31+/60) is already shortlisted. Â Â Â Â

Donât worry this is worst case. Real cut off will be -1 or -2 less than this. I still feel this gap will be b/w 17.5-18.8.Â
