At a time when quota is the buzz word in politics, senior Congress leader Janardan Dwivedi has called for an end to reservation on caste lines and urged party vice-president Rahul Gandhi to introduce quota for financially weaker sections bringing all communities under its ambit.
Friends, I met a lady few days back who joined Vijaya Bank 17-18 years ago as a Clerk and is now at the Managerial designation. There were some few interesting facts she shared with me which i found interesting and would like to share with you Puys, Please put your views on this.
1. Any one joining as a PO in bank will get the option to serve in his/her Local state for initial 2 years. Is this really true?
2. Promotion policies are flexible these days for Officers, So a PO would be eligible for a promotion right after the first 2 years of service i.e after completing his/her Probation Period and that too without any CAIIB/JAIIB exam. Is this True?
3. If a North side Person joins a South side bank like a Person from Punjab joins Andhra bank(which has most of its presence in South) as South Persons would prefer Andhra Bank and demands for South postings offering less mess in North postings so chances to get North Postings would be much easier. Is this True?
