1)Called the Inflation Indexed National Savings Securities-Cumulative, or IINSS-C, these bonds are designed to lure households away from investment in gold.
2)Investment limit: Minimum and maximum limits are Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 5 lakh per applicant per annum.
3)Interest rate will be 1.5 per cent above the consumer or retail inflation rate. So, if retail inflation is 10 per cent, subscribers can get 11.5 per cent. The interest will be compounded half yearly. The CPI data will be used with a three-month lag for calculating inflation. So, CPI for September will be used as reference CPI for all days of December.
4)The bonds shall not be tradable in the secondary market.
5)The maturity of the bonds will be 10 years and the interest will be paid out only at maturity. Senior citizens can redeem after one year of holding; others will have to hold for three years for early redemption and will have to pay penalty at the rate of 50 per cent of the last coupon payable.
6)The tax treatment of these bonds make them unattractive vis-a-vis tax-free bonds (which have been issued by government institutions like NTPC, IIFL and Hudco) and PPF investments, which are not taxed. Besides, these bonds will lose their attractiveness when retail inflation comes down.
7)The bonds shall be eligible as collateral for loan from banks, financial institutions and non-banking financial company.

puys cheer up even below 80 scorers too will have chance to get postings in first list.. all we have to do is play well in interview time.. as per my sources this time ibps has decided to reduce no.of calls. so a total of 57k have been selected for interview. and let me say some people out of them gets thrown out of interview beciuase of no NOC, caste certiifcates etc.. and there are some candidates who have passed the exam by nearluck and also mba students who writes for practice. so we can remove 7k such candidates.. so now for 22k jobs 50k people will be interviewed. cutoff will range from 42 onwards.
IMPORTANT POINTS-
1)dont wait till last minute , get all things ready and place them in a file, throw some gamaxin powder around the filE .
2) many of us have habit of keeping certificates in locker rooms.. night before the interview take it out and keep it a side on your bed.
3) some of us will have habit of wearing new dress for interviews.. its good but wat i say is that after buying, wash it and iron it. then u can wear it for interviews.
4) if you sweat a lot, avoid eating food that day... we tense a lot at the interview place so we sweat a lot.. take a big hanky with you..
5) boys should wear a full handed vest so that sweat gets absorbed by it.. apply talcum powder or prickly hit powder at armpits as much as u can
6) there will be some candidates saying b.tech+mba, m.tech+mba, 3years exp all such stuff.. never get tensed.. all are equal infront of the panel.
7) there will be some cases in verification, where people argue a lot.. dont look over them.. u may spoil ur mood.
8)take a haircut a week before if needed and clean shave the night before the d-day
To facilitate the distribution of notes and rupee coins, the Reserve Bank has authorised selected branches of banks to establish currency chests. These are actually storehouses where bank notes and rupee coins are stocked on behalf of the Reserve Bank. At present, there are over 4422 currency chests. The currency chest branches are expected to distribute notes and rupee coins to other bank branches in their area of operation.
THE One Rupee Note signifies one unit measure of currency note consisting of 100 paise which can be determined and decided by the Government of India ONLY. The RBI prints currency notes using this unit measure. for eg. if the RBI wants to print a Rs.5/- note, it has to accept the determined value of Rs.5/- as Re.1 X 5. Also as rupess is the currency of our country and only govt has the authority to issue Indian currency it has been signed by ministry of finance, all other notes are bearer notes which are signed by governor. So when the note of 2 or more then that says that " I Promise to pay the bearer the sum of ----- rupees", it means that the note is actually a promissory note and will be paid using one rupee note or by coins.
