Your doubts on PROVISIONALLY SHORTLISTED
Friends, provisionally means that your documents and identity will be verified before allowing you to attend the interview. for ex. if a fake person appeared in the exam and now the actual person appearing in the interview or vice verse, so that person will be rejected to attend the interview. that's why IBPS says everyone "provisionally" because it doesn't know who is fake or not eligible as per the eligibility criteria in the PO notification.
all the candidates specially people,who have cleared it provisionally and will see their result after 10 days(including me)..
don't get carried away untill you see interview call letter and even your final allotment after interviews.because ibps is notorious for giving worst shocks to candidates.read this..many of you might have read/know it already.i am giving this link just to awake you because if ibps does something like that with us,it will become difficult to digest and recover..best luck to all of us and hope that justice will be done with us..

friends, is it possible to be selected as PO with just clearing the cutoff provided with good pi ? were there any such cases last year who merely cleared cutoffs and selected as po?
Guys..i have one doubt,i am an OBC candidate and cleared the Exam.Now i need to Know which Certificate i need to show at the time of Interview???
Certificate Issued by Concerned Authority or the Format of IBPS signed by SDM/DM....when will IBPS upload the format of OBC Certificate?

Sisters and Brothers Of India... It feels my heart with immense joy to have cleared the first hurdle of IBPS PO and I am sure the same is the feeling among you all.
The good part is - we have cleared the written.
The bad part is - This year they have shortlisted around 75k people for the interview (from online data and logic).
So, the toughest climb lies ahead. Lets share and gain whatever knowledge we have regarding the Interview process and leave the rest to our fortunes.
I request all to let know their ideas to us..specially the ones who have some previous experiences of PI.

See, to tell it objectively, I feel that, as there are around 22k to 25k PO posts in offering, they have to shortlist around 75k candidates.Thus, it means that cut off is low, very low. The real competition lies ahead where you have to be the one in three clearing GD-PI. So, keep your feet on the ground. Picture abhi baki hai...

One query regarding allotment. Suppose someone gets allotted to preference no -5, whatever it may be, and he doesn't want to join that bank. So is there any up gradation policy?
